Finally watched the last two eps. Glad we finally got to see the origin of the half corpse. That thing had been irking me since they showed it in the earlier seasons.
While the ending was indeed great, and all the characters seem to have gotten a happy ending, I don't think it was the happy ending we all thought it appeared to be.
If you look at the very final shot, we see Cassie reunite with Cole in front of the house...then the camera pans back, and the leaves on the trees are red. I believe that Cassie let the countdown get to zero in Titan, allowing the world as we know it to be destroyed, and what we see from there on is everyones perfect illusion of the world, via the red forest as proposed to Cassie by Christopher Llyods character earlier on in the season. Think about it; everyone's life was just too perfect. I believe Cassie let the world end, so that all the characters can live via the red forest...
