Talia has been white, and has been played by white actresses for the most part. She really doesn't "have" to be anything.

She has been played by ONE white actress in a terrible representation of the character. Her name is literally Talia Al Ghul. She should at least have some middle eastern heritage.

She has been played by several lovely ladies. Some of them were as Lilly white as the Dark Knight Rises actress.



Talia has NEVER been played by a middle eastern actress or drawn to look specifically middle eastern in any comics or animation. Not to my knowledge.

In Birth of the Demon, Ra's Al Ghul comes from Chinese Nomads in North Africa, he is at the very least Eurasian. In the same book, Talia's mother was a woman of mixed Chinese and Arab ancestry (who Ra's met during Woodstock 66???). Here is how Aarif Rahman, who is of Arab, Malay and Chinese descent, looks.

Yeah, someone with eurasian/middle eastern characteristics is ideal, I think. But Talia should certainly not be a latina, african american or caucasian.
