I thought everybody knew Harry was gonna die in this movie. Hes my favorite character, hope he whoops some sand and symbiote butt.

I get the impression that the ending of this movie will parallel the first, only we'll see MJ walk away from Pete in the graveyard instead of the other way around. She'll feel too guilty over sending Harry to his death and too upset at Peter for being a jerk...

I think MJ would understand by the end that it was the symbiote effecting Peter. I think she's just going to walk away because life with Spider-Man is too difficult.

Anyways, if Raimi films this right and I'm sure he will, this will be a really emotional scene with Harry dying.

Peter's best friend...turned evil and then realizes the error of his ways, ends up getting killed by saving Pete.

Here's my take on the final moments...be easy on me!

We close in on Spider-Man as he takes his mask off and cradle's Harry's dying body in his arms after being fatalily impaled by Venom's tendrils...

Peter: Harry! Hold on..I can save you! My Uncle died in my arms I'm not letting you go......

Harry in fainted voice: I'm so sorry Peter.

Peter: You don't have to be sorry for anything Harry. You were like my brother. You were one of the only people I clung to when my parents died.
You were always there for me...

Harry: And you're here for me now.

Peter tears in his eyes: Not like this..Please Harry..don't leave me.

Harry: I loved you like my little brother Pete.

Peter now crying out: HELP ME! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! tears streaming down his face..

Harry: "I'll be o.k. Peter"...starting to choke....words becoming garbled...
"Take care of M.J. and your Aunt. They need you. I love you little brother..my best friend......"

He slowly closes his eyes and passes on.

Peter: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Harry!!!!!

Camera pans out to see Peter cradling Harry's lifeless body...we see the Goblin mask on the ground next to the Spider-Man mask.

I think they at least have known each other for like 3 years... Pete is probably a senior at college so maybe four years... I think you can be best friends in that time...

Yeah, that, too. But I think she'd probably still be a little scared/wary of him (assuming he hits her). That's not something women forget easily. She'll always be asking herself, "is he going to snap again?"

but according to the comic mythos.. pete was really small when his parents died

the movie shows this when aunt may is talking about when they moved into the house and pete said "aunt may... is that an angel" (he's lived with his aunt and uncle since he was very young) ... plus he mentions seeing MJ in a play (cinderella) in kindergarten...

I'm not debating that pete and harry aren't best friends
just that.. I don't think harry was there for pete when his folks died... I mean, first time he even met Harry's dad was at the beginning of SM1
