Target Exclusive ML wave is out

I know I can't pull out a decent Wolfsbane....My attempt will end up being a filler in my shelve. I don't know a lot about sculpting and stuff! I have done a lot of customs but everyone of them have been done almost with none of sculpting work!

I just want to fill the spot! I am convinced Hasbro will produce the rumored X-Force group pack! Or at least I hope for it! I am hooked up with the comic book right now.

Wait for tigra buddy may give you a better base for her. If you take your time im sure youll amaze your self and maybe spidey in the process

I like the x-force wolverine but most of this set is lame including red hulk, but I'll buy them all. did anyone see the new spider-man line they have the mac gargan venom and a new carnage its a repaint though.

I work at a target and my store still hasn't got them. I hope we get 1 more brood queen wave i just need Bucky. I'm pissed I didn't get it. but we seriously haven't got any marvel legends figures in for the past 4 weeks.

So it looks like this wave just got a lot more expensive to complete. A couple of people on Fwoosh reported yesterday that the price of regular MLs had been increased from $10 to $15. Just got back from checking a couple of Targets, and the price has indeed risen. Not sure whether this is due to Hasbro raising their prices or Target trying to get more money from their exclusive wave, but either way it sucks.

that does indeed suck. Lucky for me I'm passing anyway. (well, maybe black Spidey) but hopefully the prices will go back down when they lose the BAF pieces in future waves. Doubt it, but we'll see i guess...

I don't think it was Hasbro's intention this time for them to be $15. I think Target realized that they were the only ones selling this wave, so they increased the price of the figures, as exclusive figures are usually more expensive there than the regular figures. Unfortunately, the price of the HML series 1-3 have also increased, so stores that still have them on the pegs won't be getting rid of them anytime soon.

We'll have to wait for the Wal-Mart Ares wave to hit to know for sure though whether or not this was Hasbro's or Target's decision.

are you guys sure its not the hulk legends figures the fing fang foom set cause those are 14.99, but the reg new set may still be 9.99. plus at target they put **** in the wrong spot all the time.

It's the regular MLs, I went to 3 different Targets today, 2 of which had changed the ML price tags from 9.99 to 14.99, and one of which hadn't changed the shelf tags but the Cyclops figure I scanned at the price checker came up as 14.99.

Target sorts their inventory through DCPI numbers, and all of the ML waves excpet for the Foom waves share the same DCPI number, including the exclusive wave. So if they decided to raise the price for the exclusive wave, the old figures would also increase in price as well. The same thing happened with DCUC, when they raised the price to $11 for series 3, all of the older figures sell for that amount too.

Once again, I'm pretty sure this is Target's decision to increase the price, not Hasbros. Hasbro had them advertised as an MSRP of $9.99 during SDCC. I doubt that they would have increased the price by 50% in just a two month span. I think Target realized that they were the only one selling the wave, and marked them up to get more money for them, like they do with other exclusives they get. Though I could be wrong, but we won't be sure until we see whether Wal-Mart increases the price for their waves.

Edit: The number of Spiral on ebay has jumped from the 2 that were there last night to 14 now, so it looks like the wave is starting to show up more now that the price increase has occurred.

Yep, and they saw no problem getting $15 for the Hulk Legends and I bet they thought "If they'll pay $15 for these Marvel figures, they'll pay $15 for these new Marvel figures too".

And they can always mark them down if they don't sell.

I wish these Figures said on the outside how many points of articulation there were and came with a comic. Oh and were made the old toybiz way instead of this new way.

these figures have much less articulation and for the most part are very simplified in paint, facial detail, and articulation.

Did anyone else's Silver Savage have a defective leg that they basically couldn't move.

Also they feel the need to tape down each figure with swords weapons and the blades are made of very bendy rubber so all the sword are pretty much curved in a weird way.

the Spidey figure was okay I like my older toybiz ones from the sinister 6 pack better though.

I'm not familiar with Adam Warlock but the figure looked good, except for the skull in the center of his collar looked like a shriveled piece of brown goop. thats basically the only detail they really need for this figure too.

Union jack is one of my favorites just cause he's bad ass. and he has pockets for his weapons that you can actually put the weapons in. which I almost never see with these figures.

Spiral was really cool too. the arms are a little hard to position well, but theres 6 of them so what am I gonna do.

I liked the x-force wolverine it looks cool, but I have like a million wolverines.

the red hulks body was made mainly hollowed stiff feeling plastic the rest were normal style. and was really short. my Salomon Grundy BAF from the DC set was about 2 inches taller than him.

The best figures in the set are spiral and union jack

the spidey is fantastic...he has awesome articulation and a beautiful paint app. and when i picked up my three figs they had an adam warlock and i saw nothing wrong with his skull...

i don't know man...maybe you just got a crap set.

I just picked up the Spider-Man today and I like him really well. I think Hasbro's past couple of offerings are picking up in quality.

These figures are really low quality for the price, and I honestly can't believe people like them.
