Man, I hope all the stuff you say is true!

I figured the Joker in nurse uniform was true, as RoryBat confirmed it being an extra that day.

I love the whole "sausage-link-Joker-goon" sequence. Yes, I was misinformed that this was practice for the actual stunt in HK, which didn't make sense to me at the time either.

All these little 'tid-bits' just keep me so pumped and excited! July '08 couldn't come sooner!

Sat down with a person from the, we'll call it, "the TDK experience" in Chicago this summer who was privy to a major action sequence.

They also confirmed something that was until now, a rumor...

Firstly, the rumor that the Joker is disguised as a nurse is indeed true, as the sky is blue in the heart of summer. Not only is Joker disguised as a nurse, he's disguised as a female nurse with lipstick and everything else. Joker was described as a real horror show image. It will be sick and feel wrong. This incarnation of the Joker is so far from kid friendly! Me likey!

The Joker sets the bomb but the police are able to evacuate the building before it goes KABOOM! The sequence was described as beyond massive.

Next, and this is f-ing cool, the Youtube video that many of us saw of 4 guys simultaneously scaling a building in Downtown Gotham in the daytime, was actually a practice run for a reportedly extremely dangerous stunt.

The4 guys weren't scaling the building... they were thrown out the building window by a very angry Batman!

It's a huge fight sequence between the Dark Knight and 4 Joker Clown Goons. Batman quickly ties the four goons with his high-tensile rope and throws goon one out the window, who then pulls the other three goons out with HIM!!!

Batman leaves the 4 goons hanging on the side of the building to be arrested by a certain Lieutenant Gordon.

Now, the stunt was described as ridiculously dangerous because if the first goon fell out of the building at the wrong speed (as in too fast!), he would inadvertedly rip apart the other three falling goons like a wishbone. That was the term used by the tipster-- the stuntman could've been ripped apart like a friggin' wishbone!!!

Luckily the scene came off flawlessly and needless to say it looks spectacular and it's real. No crappy CGI stunt-doubles for Mr. Nolan.

Finally, the Joker sends creepy video recordings of himself to the news (much Like Osama's tapes) and these are broadcast on the evening news for all of Gotham's citizens to see. The Joker's goal is to destroy Gotham and bring Batman to his knees.

Those in the know feel that Nolan is seriously flirting with a masterpiece in the comic book to film genre. I for one don't doubt it. Nolan's interpretation of the Joker combines a high-functioning sociopath who will by film's end become the ring-leader for the broken-minded denizens of Gotham's underworld!

The thing that really boggles my mind is, how are you still allowed to make more threads after shiat like this:

Heard from a reliable source that the TDK poster was printed en masse on the 31st Of Oct. and will be hanging in movie theatres by the 30th of November...speculation is that we will glimpse the poster online on the 17th. True fans know where to look. Now the question is, what will be on the poster? My educated guess: It will give us a permanent grin...of the Chelsea variety.

The TDK poster got delayed but I was told it got printed on the 31st of October and ready to be shipped and hanging on theatre walls for the end of november. Somehow, it must have gotten delayed...but the poster will be there before the 7 minute trailer unspools in front of Fresh Prince Legend...I just repeated what the theatre owner said about the poster...but the stuff about Nurse Joker and the stunt guys is sourced and confirmed...you can take that to the bank!

I mentioned this somewhere before in another thread, Caine could've referred to the normal skin coloured make-up, for all we know. Which explains why it's a disguise.

Attikus I don't mean to be rude, but most of your information has been wrong.

Nurse joker, and the swat team fall were confirmed a LONG time ago when many of us saw them... however we were under the impression the swat time fall was in relation to something the Joker did which kills 5 swat members, which LATER in the film when he is in prison leads to the prison guard responding to joker's threat "how many of your friends did i kill?" with whispering "five" under his breath.

What are you submitting here that the regulars who have been here don't already know? Just another false promise about the poster??

In what way is it stupid that he uses skin make-up? He did it in Batman #1, and there it was a disguise.

I think Jow believes Attakus so maybe he isn't lying tho the Poster thing was some bs.

I don't get the female nurse part I mean male I can see but how would he pass as a female nurse? Especially with the make up on it would just give him away as a psycho to the rest of hospital.

The stunt looks and sounds like it will be a "WHOA! YEH! Go Bats!" moment in the movie. Kind of like Nightcrawlers teleport out of the plane to save Rogue scene.

The poster came out 4 days after it was supposed to. It got delayed... but here it is... so I will give you a "half in your face"... not a whole one because I was off by a few days

Anyway, I only post info that I get from reliable sources. The poster info came from the owner of a local West Coast Cinema (who was off by a few days probably becuase of the Holiday btw) and the action scene description came from someone who worked on TDK... the Joker Goons were left hanging and alive by Batman...if it was Joker, the victims would've fallen and died... Nolan filmed the guys hanging from the side of the building...no fall occured and trust me...It was Batman who threw the guys off and left them hanging as an example...

You'll see.
