The Dark Knight TDK Casting Sides

anyone care to put these in order (if the script numbers are how they appear in the film) ... I did notice the court scene ("hostile" scene) is a page 5, say to say that's not the scarring scene

Miranda, would you mind terribly posting some of the earlier copied and pasted one? I'd kinda like to have them all saved as images in one folder for easy viewing. The only ones i'm missing (besides the Judge Salizar one) are LFI VP, Vigilante, and Rossi (Dent's scarring?).

Or how do i access your LJ? Do i need an account to view other people's pages?

It's possible that's NOT the infamous scarring scene (It DOES sound a bit on the nose) - It could be a prelude to the actual scarring later on.

Then again, there's nothing to say the pages are in order - WHY put page numbers on them if they're just for casting (unless there's a key for character codenames?)

i doubt the pages are in order. Notice that none of the page numbers seem to go very high, i dont think they even make it past 20.

Nope.

You want the last four images posted. :)

Could be a nightmare considering how non-linear the Nolan's scripts usually are :woot:

The 'Defence' attorney sounds like Rachel. There's no casting sides for the role, which means it HAS to be a bigger role, and the people the role fits are her and Dent (who it also could be - The Prosecutor and Defence? - But he also sounds like Gannon too).

BTW, Randolph in the terrorised cops also sounds like Rachel.

so um ok, lets open this up to debate ---- The ferry bombs. Now that does have Joker written all over it. It's a sick ending either way. HOWEVER.....it's also kinda Two-face-ish. Good Ferry = Women and children. Bad Ferry = Prisoners. Press one of two buttons and let fate decide.

Now thats a hell of a coin toss....Joker or two face?

I agree it's very Two-Face-ish but I doubt we'll see full blown Two-Face till part 3.

Vote goes to Joker.

Wikum, the words for the doubters are "In ya face! In ya face!"

That was one of my first thoughts reading his lines - I mean, there were people swearing up and down Joker was going to be quiet and not smile and not have his trademark look.

Wow, did they get NOLOWNED!
I think you guys are jumping the gun a bit here. All we've got is a few pages of dialogue that barely show anything considering it's only a single page of each scene. We're barely scratching the surface of what this film is going to show.

Not saying TDK won't be good, but I wouldn't count my chickens before they've hatched from the egg.... :o

if Rachel is working in the DA's office she wouldn't be a defense attorney. Randolph seems to be a cop (Montoya?)

ferry scene, I think, said page 101. too early for two face. but, who knows.

Man, I can't believe I missed all this until now. Great work Miranda and G-Money

The Joker sounds seriously ****ed up from these excerpts.

No problem guys. $2.00 was well worth it. lol, i just hope to God that they don't call my cell phone with an appointment lol.

did you violate any agreements on the site? heh. I remember getting a phone call from a nice WB lawyer when I recorded a few of the batman commercials on that testing site. worst part was I recorded every one but the one with footage that didn't end up in the movie.

Fair enough but I gotta say, I did love what I read.

Thank you Miranda, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

No problem, dude.

Ok ok, lets get one thing straight via me, the guy studying film, lol, 1 page of a screenplay equals one page of screentime roughly. Some pages move faster, some slower, but somehow it equals out.

Most 2 hour screenplays that are of the Superhero genre clock out at 110-120 pages. 120 pages = 120 minutes / 60 Minutes (1 hour) = 2 hours. so page 101 is basically the finale of the film because the rest of the pages are all wrap up pages. Wrapping up loose ends on the story.

You never know....the cliff hanger could be with the ferries.
