Hugo Strange dressed up as Batman in one of the best angles I've ever read in a Batman comic. I could see The Joker doing it in THE DARK KNIGHT to prove a point and to create general chaos. And it would absolutely make sense if Batman is already under suspicion or wanted by the police/politicians in Gotham during the course of the film. A strained Batman/Gordon relationship could be very interesting. It usually is in the comics.

Those were great storylines (both the Englehart/Rogers original and the LOTDK 'Prey' version, and certainly in 'Prey' he really did exploit the public's fear of the Batman for his own ends. In Detective, I felt that, while his original motive was to prove his supremacy over Batman, once he found out Batman's identity, he then exploited Bruce's position of power, which was a slightly different tack. Definitely, I would like to see the idea of a mistrusted Batman, with the police unsure of whether or not he truly is on their side. Personally, I thought Gotham Central dealt with this issue very well, and No Man's Land also showed the difficulties in Gordon and Batman's relationship. If, as many people think, NML is going to influence TDK, this could certainly be an aspect they draw on.

Ooh, just remembered something else that ties in with this new side.

BOF (and a number of reports such as the one from AICN here):-

Everyone thought Batman's suit gets damaged, so he has to get a new one. But suppose he has to change it because the original one is stolen by the Joker? Whilst it could be really cheesy, it would fit the Joker's sense of humour and motivations, AND it fits in with the title of the film, and Nolan's interests in themes.

I remember hearing this around the same time I heard the rumour that had Alfred donning the bat-suit. It'll be interesting to see how this ties in, if it does at all.

Speaking of which, has anyone actually been able to confirm whether or not the April Fool's sides were B.S. or not?

I downloaded it. I thought it was real wierd. But if it is really from the movie, could be a cool idea. I mean, the Prisoner guy sounds like a crazy guy.

OK, I think I just found the hidden punchline in the 4/1 sides. Don’t know why it took me so long to see it. Definitely april fools. But what happens in “December”?

Does anyone think that one of the asian characters can be Dr.Moon?

Someone wants to play the 'Thug'....

From The Dallas Morning News:

MEET: Jeff Lindell, 31

AGENCY: Locally, The Campbell Agency

HOMETOWN: Chicago, works often in Dallas. Last seen on the runway at NorthPark's Fashion at the Park.

DOES IVANA TRUMP STILL LOVE HIM: "I still get cards and little gifts from her sometimes."

RESUME: Land's End, Neiman Marcus, Vilbrequin, Jockey underwear runway model ("It was a little weird at first with all of the women oohing and aahing at you, but you get used to it and then have fun with it. You have to be comfortable with yourself.") No kidding.

OTHER TV MOMENTS: Entertainment Tonight and he also modeled for Armani for the Oprah show.

ON DALLAS' FASHION AT THE PARK: "I loved the whole environment they created, I thought it was well organized."

NOTE TO THE LADIES: "I'm single."

SEE JEFF IN THE MOVIES: "I'm working on an audition to play a 'thug' in the new Batman film." Sadly, he was recently turned down for a small bit in the new Vince Vaughn comedy, Fred Claus, about Santa's brother. Producers said he was "too healthy looking." Yes, hence his day-job as a swimsuit model.

SIDE NOTE: Isn't it about time Warner announced the remaining cast members? Or issued some type of press release? Whats taking them so long?

I think I found a message in those sides from the beginning of the month. Weird. Not sure what it means. Crazy tho

Wow, a message for fans? Looks like a teaser trailer may be out in December (following SM2 marketing - good idea as well).

Face it, there's not enough time to make a real teaser trailer by July/Comic-con, and Nolan's too much of a perfectionist to release anything half done.

I don't remember seeing that page with the other ones... Am i just mistaken?

No way is it a coincidence. Its got to be a fake slide, from the dialogue alone, but from who?

"see you in December?"

interesting.. but i think a picture of the joker will be out sooner than that.

Well done....but what slides? haven't been scoping the board recently and i don't want to dig through everything to get caught up. thanks.

A teaser maybe..but why on that.

an official message would reach a larger audience.

because something like this creates buzz. it's just marketing and pr.
