Hong Kong is very cramped and the look of the Narrows is based on the older Hong Kong slums. This is great news if Nolan is going to use some of Hong Kong's broken down waterfront stuff as well as the slums...........

Hong Kong is very cramped and the look of the Narrows is based on the older Hong Kong slums. This is great news if Nolan is going to use some of Hong Kong's broken down waterfront stuff as well as the slums...........

all that neon lights are only for like around 20mins....because everynight in hongkong they have the world's largest laser show where many of their skyscrapers dazzle da crowd with lights and lasers in a wonderful cool show.

But as for the narrorws, i think its great if they filmed in hongkong, there's parts of hongkong where it is very cramped and old, perfect for representation of the narrows

New bit piece at BOF with Jonah doing an interview. He states that his brother is in Hong Kong for "undisclosed business". Well there were already rumours of location scouting going on there. So I think it's safe to say they will be doing some kind of location shooting in HK. Which I'm happy about. I wonder for what for though...could be for just some exterior shots to use as some other parts of Gotham or perhaps of flashback sequences of Bruce training with a woman named Lady Shiva?? Hmm....interesting indeed....

I was in Hong Kong last summer so it will be cool if TDK will be filming filling me with some bad but overall happy memories.

Part of Gotham is modeld after HK so i guess it makes though it may be expensive.Maybe we'll see a few street scenes in Gotham at daytime?
