TDK Movie Masters? Where on the card? A 2 part question.

suppossedly,and this a BIG supossedly,TRU is looking to add a third,and possibly FOURTH 2-pack set to their iteniary...apparently it all depends on how well the first 2 sell,and i know the Bats vs Joker 2-pack is selling well,so we'll have to see how the Bats vs Scarecrow one does...anyway,the 2 rumored possibilities for these are:

Joker and Gotham City Thug (original)

Joker and Gotham City Thug (repaints)

...the first one would be what's already out there,just put in the box together like the other 2 sets....the other one,though,suppossedly will havea Thug with new paint apps on the mask and a different colored suit/shirt/pants....PLUS the joker from the bank robbery beginning,again using the Thug body painted to look like he did and with a Joker head popped on there instead of a clown mask head.....either way,this is suppossed to be a "Holiday Promotion" thing...if either one comes to pass,depends on sales,but Mattel wants to get these out to people in whatever way possible,while the iron is still hot,and having either one (or both) of these out around X-Mas will help with the DVD release to tie into it....

needless to say,the second set would be scalped MASSIVELY!

more than anything else,you're gonna see the Joker everywhere...they're gonna push and pump figures of him out of every available outlet....by the time the line ends,i'm sure we'll have at least 2 or 3 more Joker variations....much more than anyone else...they know the ball was dropped on this line this year,and they're gonna more than make up for it...

mikey I'm very excited to hear that...we have to make sure the other two packs sell! Scalping will be a problem though...too bad there's really no way to combat that sort of thing.

like i said,though,this a big supposedly,so if it DOESN'T happen,please don't kill me! a friend of mine works at TRU and he said his manager mentioned to him through corporate that they want to try and get some exclusives for the holidays in their stores,with the idea of buy the movie AND the toys from them at the same time,and these 2-packs were mentioned as a possibility

but,the lineup for those disappointed if it doesn't come about can stand right behind me...line forms to the left....

i was goingto by the scarecrow 2-pack anyway,since i'm now going into the "trying to get 1 of each to keep in the package" phase with these,but this just puts more imputus on making sure i get one...

Yeah I'm buying doubles now as well. I'm probably going to pick up the BB Batman MM like Friday, because it's a peg warmer at my Wal-Mart. I already have 2 Jokers, 2 Scarecrows, 2 TDK Batman, and working on a second thug...haven't even got the first one in the mail yet. I got a good deal on my thug too it was only like 25 shipped.

Anybody know why they weren't released in Canada?
