you don't need an okay from anybody... just use spoiler tags and copy/paste what he tells you.

turtlefocker, he answered you....but he could be covering his own ass...

After reading over the rotten tomatoes review, I must say I was a bit skeptical.
As I read the Q & A in response to the review, I thought more and more that this could be the real deal.
If it IS real..
When he mentions:

One particular scene, while holding a knife to the face of a victim he says, "My daddy was a evil bastard. He would drink, and one night he took a knife to my face, and said - 'Why So Serious?', 'Why So Serious?', 'Let's put a smiiiiile on the face!".

I am really excited about that line somehow, it seems really twisted.. I like the whole idea of "different stories" as this reviewer mentioned, it reminds me of the
"If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!" joker quote.

and when he mentions:
This is a great scene where we realize just how crazy Joker is. To prove he doesn't care about money at all, and just is totally insane - he burns the huge stack of money he and his cronies just fought to obtain, and there's a great shot of him in front of it. "It's all about sending a message", he says. He doesn't need payment, he just enjoys causing death and destruction.

concerning the money burning ordeal..
A lot of people have speculated that Dent and Batman actually burn the money, and joker is angry about it..
however I was hoping for this all along because it seemed to make more sense to me and really show joker's insanity and the meaning behind his work/"plans". So i'm relieved concerning that..

yep...that's my input. Haha.

I just want this guy to be real now because I don't want to believe we live in a world where anyone could be this bored with their lives that they'd go this far.

***SPOILER***SPOILER***

You're totally right, my slip-up. This is literally the second scene in the film, and I remembered wrong. Scarecrow makes an appearance in the beginning, in full form with mask and all. Batman copy-cats try to foil his plan, somewhat unsuccessfully. Scarecrow laughs wondering where the real Batman is, CRASH - the tumbler comes rolling through the wall - but it's empty. Where is he? From the shadows he appears beating down Scarecrow henchmen/Batman copy-cats alike.

Like you said, the copy-cat says -"What makes us different?"

Batman replies - "I'm not wearing hockey pads," and rolls off in the tumbler.

I'm still not convinced, but well, he's winning me over.

The 'from the shadows' line seems wrong since I was under the impression, based on the trailer, Batman lands ontop of the van... hmmm.

Maybe he takes out Scarecrow's men "from the shadows" and then jumps onto the van as Scarecrow is trying to get away? Kind of like with Falcone at the docks in BB.

I remember seeing a picture of Scarecrow sitting with the vigilantes in a parking garage I believe. Wouldn't that be an indication of them working together? If not, what exactly would it indicate?
How can we be sure the exact opposite isn't the case?
He could have seen the picture and while making up his story took that picture in it's context into account. He could have just as simply tied them up to be arrested because he felt they didn't know what they were getting into and could be a danger to the public as well as themselves. One had a shotgun for Christ sakes.

The problem here is he has a great advantage in that no one can prove most of it, but the majority of it is kinda common knowledge anyways.

That would make sense, I'll ask him anyway...

You'd think there would be more people coming forward from the screening.

Alright boy.. Sorry my roommate just got home from work so I told him and we had a smoke.. Here we go..

DENT SCARRING/RACHEL
He said Joker kidnaps both Dent & Rachel. He tells Batman he has them both tied up to explosives and Batman has to choose between the two. He gives him two addresses and send him on his way.

(BUT.. It was all part of the plan.. Joker switched the addresses so whoever he chooses will actually get killed.)

Batman choose Rachel, only to kick open the door and find Dent.

BOOM. Rachel's dead.

(Early, after his kidnap, Dent was doused in gasoline but tied up because Joker had a better idea..)

Batman's trying to save Dent, but explosions go off and Dent is only half scarred because Batman's trying to protect him.

Scarecrow
I guess he said it's the second or third scene.. Fake batmen are either trying to get Scarecrow or working with him because they barge in on Scarecrow and another gang, but Batman comes.. Kicks everyone's ass. He said Scarecrow is full fledged Scarecrow, NO CRANE. No more.. Dumbest of the spoilers because we already heard that

Two-Face
He was giddy like a 12 year old girl saying Two-Face is full shown in the hospital when Joker barges in, but from there on out he starts killing A LOT OF PEOPLE. A lot of cops, who helped kidnap him and Rachel and other people involved. "He almost rivals Joker's body count."

AHHH.. THE GOOD STUFF
Ok. So he said Joker and Batman have a final fight on the top of a roof. He said they fight a bit and it's all good, but Batman throws him off the top of the roof very similar to BATMAN, but shoots his grapple hook and catches him by the ankle. Joker lives, but goes to jail.. And that's not the end of the movie.

Two-Face breaks into Gordon's home and holds his family hostage. He flips a coin and it's tails for Gordon's son. Batman barges in and the two have a confrontation, not really a battle.. And before Two-Face can shoot his son, Batman takes him down and saves the day..

So neither die, both go to jail, BUT.. Batman takes the blame for all of the killings Dent commits and all the chaos he brought about. The cops, including Gordon, feel he's the primary threat to the city and issue a warrant for his arrest..

The final scene shows Batman on the batpod driving off into the distance while the cops chase him and it's clearly the IMAX camera and it's a very nice, wide, slow rising shot..

No new villains introduced. All three (Crow, Joker, Face) are alive but sent to the repaired Arkham.

I'd better not get in trouble for this.. And when I start releasing a new flask episode every week starting this week, you'd better watch my show grow from crap to the big screen baby.

Could someone ask that guy about that all blue shot of Joker hitting a camera? Is it really just a camera or Batman fighting Joker with night vision goggles?

That stuff about

The Joker explaining about his dad holding a knife to his face completely goes against what Nolan has been saying about the less we know about him makes him scarier.

Oh yeah. About what I posted..

Batman takes the blame because he said Two-Face kills a lot. And he was either really over exaggerating or really psyched about how much he killed because he was so excited about this aspect of it.. Probably because he didn't expect it.

Now I hope this guy to be a fake because I really wish I hadn't read that. Even thought I think it sounds pretty good, even a little snub at Burton.

Hey.. I said it wasn't going to be pretty.. I asked for permission and everything so NO ONE BETTER GET ON MY CASE OR START BANNING ME AGAIN.. Hahaha.. Please.

You know what's so interesting about this film right now...no one has actually tried to sit down and actually give everyone a serious story time line for this film. We all have bits and pieces of individual things regarding the film but no sense of timeline with this thing.

I mean, it just seems that this film is stuffed to the gills with story and plot and yet, we just don't have a good handle on how we get from point A to point Z.

I thought that would've happened by now.

That stuff about

The Joker explaining about his dad holding a knife to his face completely goes against what Nolan has been saying about the less we know about him makes him scarier.
I believe the reviewer said that the Joker explains his scaring to different people, each giving a different origin so you never know for sure

One part of me thinks it can't be real.. They've been so good about keeping it hush-hush..

But then again the botchiness of his story (i.e. the fake batmen, don't remember Al Rossi, etc.) makes me think it's probably real.. Sounds like a guy who's not a die-hard fan like us and just saw a movie he barely remembers all of it but the really really good stuff.

Could someone ask about how much of the film takes up the Hong Kong portion?

I hate being so weak when it comes to spoilers. But if this guy is legit, which I have to think he is, the switch Joker pulls is brilliant. Oh man.

Could someone ask about how much of the film takes up the Hong Kong portion?

we know via that one article that Bruce goes there to nab that Asian gangster and bring him back to Gotham. seems like it's mostly an action sequence, so not a whole lot.

Yeah.. That's why I wanted to post it.. I read it and was thinking 'wow. if it's not real, this guy's a creative mofo.'

Joker switching the addresses puts Batman in a situation to 'go loooooney' by losing the one he chooses..

Makes me think Joker notices something about Batman when he throws her off the roof from earlier.. Where Batman clearly must dive and save her.
