Hi. I´m new here, but I´ve seen this forum months before...I´m still waiting for TDK (August 13th is the release in Spain), and I´d love to make a Batman cowl... Well, I found this thread and the Shadowbat suit looks terrific (sorry Jester, yours looks nice but I think we need better shots to see it better), and I want to ask for some tips, materials and stuff for my own cowl. Any ideas?

Only thing I dont like is the guantlet part. Not the plate with the fins, but the forearm glove section. Doesnt look right, actually destracts from the shole suit for me. Other than that, I much prefer the new cowl set up you did over the one piece you originally had.

See, this is what Im talking about. He put his own stamp on the original design to make it his own unique look without totally changing the overall feel for what the design is supposed to be.

Im actually redoing those right now. I removed the whole fin plate and Im just adding straps to those.

Boy, what a couple of a$$holes. What? Are you into guys? Checking out his physique and all? It's a costume thread. Its about the costumes and the fact that Shadowbat made his. I dont see where you guys have done anything in this regard. Lets see your Greek God bodies with your perfectly made costumes. Then we can maybe understand you critisizm of his.

I find it funny when newbies pop on this board and make ignorant posts like these to one of this boards oldest and respected members. I have never in my few years being a lurker on SHH seen Shadow ever make crude or isulting comments towards anyone. He doesnt deserve to receive them.

I personally think that his costume is one of the best Ive seen. He took a design and made it his own. That shows creativity. Costuming is about the fun, and its very obvious he has fun when doing this hobby.
