The Dark Knight TDK Talk Show Appearances

anyone gonna see that psychology of batman thing on the history channel?

edit: it is tomorrow, sorry

Just finished seeing Dailies on the Reelz Channel, Eric Campos from filmthreat.com talked about us here at the Hypeboards. He even mentioned a few users names and showed what they had to post about The Dark Knight.

Thats awesome, link yet?

I'll see if it pops up on youtube I don't see why not since this TDK Toy clip is from todays episode of Dailies.

Awesome.

Also, Eckhart is on Letterman tonight, hes going to come out in a few minutes for anyone who wants to tune in.

Still another 2 1/2 hours here

Did anyone see Meryl Streeps quick eye-roll about opening against Batman? :funny:

Haha yeah that was awesome.

Just saw the "Peter Travers from Rolling Stone..." TV Spot.

Awesome

It was nice to hear from Eckhart how proud Heaths mom was about her baby boy.

Was that sorta like "boy my movie screwed!" kinda of eyeroll? :woot: :funny:

That one always gives me chills!

They have completely opposite demographics. Mamma Mia will do just fine. TDK will overshadow it in the headlines though for sure. Whereas Hairspray was able to be #1 during its opening weekend and get all kinds of attention for that, Mamma Mia will be in the background to the biggest 3-day opening of any movie this year.

Oh no I'm sure it will do "fine" I was just curious what you all thought her eye roll implied? See I took it to mean like you said she knows that her movie will most likely as you put it "be in the background to the biggest 3-day opening of any movie this year." :hoboj: :brucebat:

Although you never know how Mamma Mia will do at the box office because I can only assume it's demographic would be females and every female I've spoken to plans on seeing The Dark Knight opening weekend.

she seemed to embrace the fact that she's going up against the most anticipated movie of the year...I hope she watches it. She has nothing to worry about...Mama Mia is the perfect counter-programming that TDK could possibly get...its demographic is on a whole other level of audiences it will reach out to...I won't make any unrealistic predictions...but mama mia coming close to 100m at the boxoffice for its final take will be considered a hit when you look at what it is going up against.

Eckhart was much better in this interview with Letterman than Leno...Leno is a buffoon...but Letterman really wanted to talk about the movie...you could tell. Too bad the audience was deadpan as hell...Leno's was all cheers for Aaron and the mere mention of TDK.

for those who haven't seen the Letterman appearance:
