...so the question is, what would you like to see in the teaser?

My idea is to do a dark refelction of the "Batman Begins" trailer. Lots of brief glimpses of various moments and locations, complete with a narration. Only this time, instead of Batman narrating, it's The Joker. And at the end of the trailer, we get a brief flash of his grinning face. And then we hear the laugh...

That sounds great to me! It's got everything I would want. Just a brief glimpse of the Joker like the BB trailer and definately the laugh. The thing I want the most though is a laugh as we've seen pics but not heard him yet. So bring on the trailer, I'm ready

I heard someone say that as well. They said it would at least have a voice over with what Gordon said to Batman about the Joker.

well, that is kinda disapointing to me. i was really hoping for a normal bank heist trailer with Joker revealing himself at the end- I really didn't even need Bats in the teaser.

LOL @ what's in bold. Like DeaDhead Crow said, it was just a rumour anyway. Even if it is in the real teaser/trailer it was just supposed to be the opening of it to lead into new footage from TDK.

In regards to what's blacked out. [blackout]It's not supposed to be footage but just the conversation edited in as a voice over. The one where Gordon is explaining to Batman the Joker......"leaves a calling card"[/blackout]

Didn't hear this before. I'd like some of that footage - it's such a perfect bridge to the events of TDK, even have the dialogue over scenes of Joker causing mayhem. And a clear shot of him laughing, right at the end.

As i was reading this thread- I was wondering that myself... Since when is telling everyone which movie the teaser is attached too- a spoiler? No details of movie are released and I think EVERYONE on this board wants to see the teaser as soon as it comes out. Maybe it is just fun to have that spoiler button on a message. t:
