im just going by what i heard so i figured id post it since it looked exactly like the descrption. come to think of it though there was a very diffrent sounding new descrption at latino review.com 2 days ago though.

That thing has been out for weeks and is in the Fakery thread (which might need to be bumped or re-stickied). For someone just goofing around on their own time, it's not bad. However, placing on par with a professional turned out by a major studio for a summer blockbuster? Come on.

"Hey Harry,

My brother IM'd me a moment ago with a description of the Dark Knight teaser, saying I may report this to the nearest movie site or whatever. Apparently news about this has not been heard yet, but here goes: Black background, cards begin to fall in slow motion, the joker whispers things directed at Batman, the audience, the final card to fall is the joker, with also a picture of the bat signal on fire."

sounds about the same, but yea the camcorder quality does prove its fake. but good for fan made.
 
Not reading spoilers for the teaser, but question. Will it be played with every showing of the simpsons? Wednesday night midnight specifically or possibly Friday?
 
Thats seems to be the million dollar question right now, no one is sure
 
We're still not sure that it'll be with The Simpsons (some have speculated Bourne Ultimatum). Regardless of when it's released, it likely won't be with every showing of the movie. There have been a few instances where some theaters show a different set of trailers than others. However, it should get online fairly quickly after the release.

I'm waiting for the guy who screams "I saw it!" 3 days before it hit the theaters.

That's a VERY old description probably concocted just for that lame trailer.

The new, and more likely real description ala SHH!:

I have seen The Dark Knight Teaser. I don't want to reveal everything...

It starts out with the WB logo gracing the screen, followed by the DC logo and the Legendary pictures logo. The screen goes black.

It opens back up as a commercial paid for by the friends of Harvey Dent. We are shown shots of him talking, making public speeches, and walking in a suit, while a deep voice comes on and talks about Harvey Dent. A generic politician commercial.

What seems to be halfway through the commercial, it is interrupted by static, and blacks out. Out of nowhere a crystal clear image comes onto the screen of a blacked out man with large windows behind him. The camera slowly zooms in on him. He's talking (about what I won't say) and as he finishes he begins laughing. Lightning strikes, lighting up his face, as the laughter grows more manic. Cut to black.

The Batman Begins (now The Dark Knight's bat) emblem is shown with the words The Dark Knight. Then it says Summer 2008 and has the website at the bottom.

What is said... is a surprise that I must keep for now. It gave me chills.

i am a little afraid that hte teaser wont go online since there is no news about the realese of teaser.

this is 2007 and i think it is normal that they realese teasers and trailers online since now you have to promote the movie also on the internet.

i will not read the description because i want to be suprised.
 
I am sick of hearing about that falling card teaser.

There supposedly isn't just the logo, there is a voiceover by bruce and alfred. Then the Joker starts talking and we hear the laugh. If that is the one though there aren't any shots from the movie though.

I have a feeling we'll be getting a theatrical trailer in December.
 
Wow!! This thread really sucks.

I just saw The Simpsons Movie and, yes, there is a teaser that includes NO VIDEO... only the two logos (WB & Legendary) followed by the Batman logo and a Joker card... hear dialogue between Bruce Wayne & Alfred and ends with The Joker laughing.

I'm starting a new thread and posting the video.
