Oh man, I still haven't had my DVD/Comic Book!! I'm getting really worried now seeing as it's prime thieving time by the Post Office. Gotta wait for it not to show up for seven days til I can complain to HMV.

Yep and there is one scene that was shot and was not used in the film. Joker(as the nurse) gets into the back of the bus and we see the hospital exploding in background as The Joker looks ahead. Nolan said Heath was great in that scene because he never look behind once even though explodsives were going off right behind him.

I saw Arkham trailer, looks good.

Huh, you probably got the same postman as me then. Mine was supposed to have been shipped on Monday as well. I want the comic - the DVD I can get anywhere. It's the only reason I pre-ordered!!!

Got emails on Tuesday saying the DVDs had been posted (I ordered 2 versions) and I got an email on Thursday saying the Blu-Ray had been posted. Weirdly I got the Blu-Ray today.
I have to disagree about the extras Ive only seen the 1st disc so far but I found the movie focus points on it to be pretty
interesting.

I pre-ordered both DVD and Blu-Ray (Blu-Ray for myself, DVD so others here can watch it since the Blu-Ray is mine), and I'm hoping to get the comic.

I'm jealous of everyone who has it early. :/ Nothing ever gets sent to me early. Sometimes games, but never movies.

You'll be happy to know you were wrong, and I was getting bothered about nothing. t: The DVD in the store did have the comic. I feel kind of sad buying both the Blu-Ray and the DVD, but the Blu-Ray is mine whilst the DVD is for my parents.

I don't know where you saw DVD with the comic. The DVD itself is £13.99 and Blu-Ray is £19.99 without with comic on HMV shop.

Yeah. I thought the cover would be made sort of.. Well, more solid, you know? Although I'm glad it isn't. If I remember right it's what they were offering with the Batman Begins Blu-Ray in the U.S? It's nice they released it here.

As a side note - Did anyone get a slip case with the Blu-Ray if they bought it? The one I got didn't, but I swear it's advertised with one and other countries have them as well.

I got The Dark Knight today, and I have a question to the other people in the UK who have the DVD. Alot of the pictures I have seen of the case online have the "Welcome to a world without rules" quote on the cover, but my case does not. I was wondering if the pictures on the websites are wrong or if there are a few variant cases.

No, I don't think that's it. I didn't pre-order mine. I just grabbed mine off the shelf. They all had free comic books with them.

My local HMV store ordered in over 600 copies because the demand was so great. That's the power of the Bat :bat:

Ah, right. I wasn't sure since I'd pre-ordered and all. It seems weird some HMV stores would get it and others didn't though?

t: Yeah. I guess you never really need to worry about films running out. Not here anyway. It's nice to see the film again too.
