The Dark Knight Rises TDKR fan trailers thread

Rough synopsis:

"The Batman Complex"
- Trevor Reznik, a schizophrenic insomniac, haunted by dreams in which his alternate personalities manifest themselves as a nightmarish creature known as the "Batman." A desperate Reznik seeks help from a professional psychologist with an alternate solution: Inception. As Dominic Cobb and his team delve deeper into Reznik's psyche, they discover the most elaborate levels beyond limbo, and a world in which Reznik exists as malevolent projections of each individual personality. With each alternate solution, the dream levels begin to collapse, and they must destroy the Batman before the elaborate structure of the psyche falls into a "catatonic limbo." In a world without rules, the most resilient parasite... is an idea.

In fact, Wired isn't the only place that's picked up on it. You also got the attention of Batman himself! (Well, DC Comics' official Batman FB page, at least!)

Thanks for keeping me in the loop guys! You've found way more than I have. I really appreciate it. :) :up:

It's pretty cool to see it get recognized on such a level. DC Nation's official twitter tweeted it last night, it's now on the front page of Wired (was it there when you posted the link yesterday kvz5? I can't remember...), and yeah, seeing it on the official Batman FB page is sweet. Vulture is a big one too.

While the notoriety is certainly exciting, the most rewarding part is, as always, just seeing so many fans really get into it and discuss it together. To be able to share in the idea with such a large fanbase is really awesome, and very fun indeed.

Anyhow, I guess I'll check back periodically to see if anyone discovers it posted on anywhere else of note. Again, I appreciate you guys sticking with it. :up: :up:

Look at the last page, the score that was played was called "Death is the Road to Awe" from the movie brilliant movie, The Fountain.

I know this is a late comment, but I have to say that this is an amazing video. The concept of it is fascinating.
 
The Batman Complex, both trailers are incredible. After seeing the second one I couldn't stop watching it. I would pay out the butt to see that movie.

firstclassclown, the second video you posted had some interesting animation. I wasn't too fond of the blurred symbol towards the end, but the buildup to it was very cool.
 
Best fan trailer I've seen for this movie, and I've been watching a lot of them. Makes me want to do one of my own!
 
Really very good. However, this does feel like one of those trailers where another would be released shortly after to promote the optimism of the film. After all it is The Dark Knight Rises. I hope you follow suit too.

Watching that batman Complex trailer is way preferable to wading through all that "INDIA TEH LAZARUS PIT!1" crap...
