Well, first time poster, just joined the site...made a trailer/teaser for TDKR during the night

Used The Dark Knight soundtrack, as you can see I took alot from official trailers in the first half of the clip but later on I tried to pump up the action aspect a little bit, not sure if I succeeded...comments are welcome and I hope you enjoy watching it at least as much as I did making it.

Same here. The worst part is that there's some quality lines I'd like to sync into a trailer, but I just can't tolerate samples of the audio that have bits of the score from one of the official trailers in the background. It ruins it for me, and not only are the methods of drowning that out tedious, they ruin the quality of the lines themselves. I really admire Solyentbrak, he's a great video editor that has the patience to get that sort of stuff right.

yeah its possible to do it with various tools, but its a pain in the a**...

you can also cheat a little bit with two different audio tracks. you lay one over the voice part and then you mute everything between the spoken parts/ or cut them out... but its not the best solution I agree, and when the bg music is to loud its almost impossible to pull off.. but its probably the easiest way.. I did that with my video within the editing programm without any other tools..

The part where liam neeson talks, there is water dripping in the bg... it doesnt sound so difficult but it took quite a while to get that right.

Just to clarify, I did NOT create the following trailer (assuming I can get the video to show up ). Maybe someone has posted this previously, I'm not sure.

This trailer is more of a tribute to the Dark Knight trilogy as a whole, including footage from BB and TDK, but most of the scenes are from TDKR. Personally I got goosebumps watching this, thought it was really well done.

I suppose the only fault I found with it was that a few scenes from TDKR were not in HD like the rest of the clips but thats a small complaint really.

I love Inception and Time is a great fit in that film, but I've ALWAYS wished it was saved for The Dark Knight Rises. It would have been a perfect score for the end too.

MY GOD. That was beautiful! The music and chant at the very very end clashed alittle bit for my ears, but apart from that it was lovely.

Especially the start! The look on Batman's face and him turning totally works with the Bane dialogue.

The chant at the end of the trailer was brilliantly placed, as was the trailer's main tune. I think that was a track from the movie "Shame" if I'm not mistaken?
