The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words. - Philip K. Dick

Please feel free to add your own rioting riddles & laughable Lateral Thinking Puzzles.

Now to start us off i will present you with one of my favorite lateral thinking challenges. Do not worry its an easy one.

During the war, a British soldier had Adolf Hitler clearly in the sights of his gun. Why didn't he fire?

Hmmm. Give me a nice riddle then. I'm not good with word games.

blablabla It was World War 1, Hitler was just a wounded nobody at the time.

Welldone

This apparently true incident took place during the First World War when Adolf Hitler was a private in the German army.He was wounded and the British soldier thought it would be unchivalrous to kill him.

Very well good sir. See if any of you can get this one

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50." The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

well no matter if he can guess it or not he could write it on the piece of paper.

edit-if thats the answer id like to offer one of my own.

He wrote
"your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50"
on the piece of paper...

He guessed the weight and added "More or Less."

He wrote "your exact weight" on the piece of paper.
