Transformers teaser reactions...

I liked the "Transformers" teaser, saw it online. Unfortunately it gives you no indication of what the actual film will be like.

that's why it's called a teaser.....my audience today started clapping when they saw the symbol

Both audiences (seen POTC2 Twice) I was with all started whispering about it. You could random whispers of "Transformers? Wow." and "Autobots...cool." and "I like the Title Changing. Yeah Me Too."

But there was no clapping or yelling or jumping up and down.

When I saw it there were about 3 or 4 people talking about it and it was a filled theater. Then my roommate told me he saw it with everyone from filmschool at the theater and they all yelled out GAY in the theater.

If they're in film school they were probably talking about Michael Bay...

Wow.. everyone on this thread had great reactions.. my theatre was very negative.. alot of "Not this." and "Wow, that is ****ing stupid." and when the logo showed I said "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE." and I was responded to with a "Shut up, queer." but I geuss people in Cleveland aren't big autobots fans.. SM3 however was greated with a much warmer reaction.

Today's theater audience is so fickle and a lot more jaded than in the past...that goes for people in general. Nothing today is wholesome and unless its marketed toward today's myspace audience (can't even say MTV audience because even they're not cool) then its automatically gay, ******ed or teh weaksauce. That's why more people are opting for the home theater setup. Myself, I have a 100 inch screen with DLP projector and Bose surround sound...its great. But I have to wait for movies on DVD and I will not wait for movies like Transformers that long...especially if its going to be released in IMAX like Superman Returns. I can't wait.

That is the truth most of the time. People don't want to get all excited about a lot of things anymore and evne if they do, they are usually shot down quickly by someone else. It's quite crappy, honestly.

dam.......you got my hopes up.

3-d maybe?:O :O :O :O :O

hey I saw the trailer before and thought it was ok. I went and saw Pirates 2 with my friend and he said that he thought that it looked too serious. He also said that the robot we saw didn't look like Megatron but like starscream. He said that megatron should be bigger. We both liked how they showed the TRANSFORMERS title and date.

It's been reported the whole mars thing has nothing got to do with the movie. Kinda like the teaser for the Spider-man with thw twin towers it was like a little movie, they did the same for Transformers.

I hope not...and if it is 3d I hope they lighten up the 3d glasses they are using. Its almost like wearing sunglasses in the theater with the ones they used for Superman Returns.

The trailer got really good reactions from what I could tell, for both showings I went to for Pirates.

However, it wasn't until "Transformers" came on screen. Before that, everyone was silent, probably thinking "Wtf?"

Once the text and logo came up before started talking.

eh it was just what I expected. I loved every second of it. I think the shadow was bumblebee anyone else think that.

i thought it was crap nuff sed

i mean jesus transformers came from cybertron not mars. From what ive heard about changes to megatron and soundwave and such(wen i first heard about that I was Miffed but now i'm MAD) i grew up with transformers i was drooling over the teaser poster but after reading this forum and watching the teaser i think personally Bay doesn't care what the fans think if he did he would listen to what the fans wanted and try to make things work whilst modernising the film, like rami did with Spidey now im not saying i want a direct port of the 80's as a movie, i just wish they would be faithful

In2minds....... if you read anything about transformers you would the footage in the trailer WILL NOT be in the movie....bay him self aslo said transformers WILL not be from mars but from cybertron.

so wtf are you talkin about?
