The Dark Knight Teaser with Pirates?!

I hope it's not with Oceans 13, just because out of all the big summer movies that's one of the ones i'm less interested in seeing. Sure, i'll catch it on DVD, but i'm in no rush to see it in theaters.

I actually liked the first one. It was a fun and cool romp.

But my God, the second one was...boring...and charmless.
I might see 13, since it kinda captures the first movie's spirit, but yeah..I feel you.

I can confirm that the TDK teaser will not be attached to At World's End.

It is, however, currently being prepped. Expect it soon. Sooner than I thought.

With Potter 5 or O13 right? Or perhaps both? Then it should be shown again at Comic Com IMO.

I'd rather the trailer with Potter than with Pirates, if only because I will see Potter in the theater, and, God willing, I will never set eyes on Pirates 3.

So I would then have to download the TDK trailer to watch it, instead of seeing it on the big screen.

And to people dismissing the Harry Potter movies: I did too, until I actually watched one. Let me tell you, they are VERY good movies and VERY good books, and they are more than just kid's stories. the first couple are aimed at a younger audience, but JK Rowling seems to be smart enough to realize that between books, her audience is growing up, so each Harry Potter book is more mature in subject matter than the one before it - which also makes sense given that the characters are a year older in each story. So they started out at 11 and by the end of "Deathly Hallows" they will be 18.

Each story is not only more adult than the one before it, but darker than the one before it. And while I felt kind of silly watching the first two, by the third one I felt completely different about them. HP5 is a very dark tale indeed.

If Oceans 13 is anywhere near as boring or bad as Oceans 12 was...then I'm not paying to see that crap in theaters. Soderbergh and the writers better have realized the horrible mistakes they made in Oceans 12. O11 was slightly above average and I waited to see that on DVD. O12 I paid....mainly because I was hoping to see the BB teaser and it was god awful.

P3 I'm at a crossroads. Loved P1.....and P2 started off good but then just faded into the over produced loud mode. It also needed to be edited....BADLY. I compared P2 to Matrix Reloaded.....which isn't good. The things is....Depp is cool and I'm a fan of MOST of his work and the Jack Sparrow character is a classic! I honestly don't want to pay to see the film because I keep hearing it's just as bad as P2 or worse? I'm sure I'll be board enough during this long weekend to take the fiance to see it though.

Regarding Potter 5. I'm a a big fan of the movie series and I'm 32. It reminds of films like the Goonies, Dark Crystal, Star Wars when I was a kid and teen. The Potter films are for all ages IMO and they writers and directors have done a consistent job of making these films good and interesting just like the books. The first was great......the 2nd was easliy the worst IMO.....the 3rd was solid and the 4th the best IMO. I expect the series to get better and better as the whole Potter storyline thickens and I can't wait for the Order of the Phoenix. So I hope WB's and Nolan avoid the mistake they made last year by not showing the teaser for BB in July and especially at Comic Con. WB's needs to take advantage of Comic Con!

WB's needs to take advantage of there in house summer films if anything and show a teaser with at least Potter 5 and Oceans 13. Even though O13 may not end up being very good....the general adult movie audience will see it just for the cast most likely. Then show the same teaser or a different cut teaser at Comic Con to stir more positive buzz and then don't bother putting anything out until the Holidays as far as new teasers or trailers.

They say it'll be better than Ocean's 12, getting back to the theme of 11.

Anywho, back on topic, it'd be interesting if it was before Ocean's 13, because if memory serves me right, the first Batman Begins teaser was before 12.

Yeah a bit excessive of course.....but I remember seeing it in the theater. I don't get bored, sleepy, or fidgety very much during films. It has to be not very good if I start getting that way in the theater. Maybe it was because I saw it past 10pm....but I almost fell asleep. No bueno...
