I was wondering what others think of the idea of having Ted Levine play Jim Gordon if Gary Oldman had refused the role or if Oldman does not to continue in the role in future films. Anyone who has watched Monk could possibly see as I do that Levine already pretty much has the look down (just add horn rimmed glasses) as well as other aspects of Gordon (relying on a specially skilled individual who is not officially part of the police force to solve crimes?)
I would like to know what what other member think of this idea.

P.S. please no Silence of the Lambs jokes ie. skin/ lotion

I don't think Oldman is going anywhere. He seems very fond of Nolan and WB in general.

I completely agree with you. Believe me the last thing I want is for Oldman not to return in the part of Jim Gordon. I think he is damn near perfect in the role. I was being purely hypothetical.
