Paul "Triple H" Levesque Explains Why He Cut Off His Trademark Ponytail

Promoting WrestleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events, appeared on WHEB-FM's "The Morning Buzz." During the radio interview, he explained that he cut off his trademark ponytail in September because wearing it on a daily basis in the corporate environment had become an increasing nuisance.
"To be honest, the hair actually didn't have that much to do with the corporate position as much as it did with... For years when I was wrestling and I wore my hair down all the time—I'd go through airports whenever I let my hair down, it didn't matter—and just in that [corporate] environment I was wearing my hair up all the time. It just got to be such a pain that for the last year and a half I've been dying to cut it off. It just started to become the bane of my existence, my hair every day, and I never wore it down; I just couldn't wait for the time when I could finally get rid of it," Levesque explains.
"And it's the weirdest thing. To me, it wasn't that big of a deal and I didn't really put that much thought into it, but then I literally did it in the morning, drove to the office, there was a couple of people outside, I took a few pictures as I was walking in, and I went inside. I got upstairs, it wasn't even ten minutes later, and someone came up, "Dude, you're all over TMZ that you cut your hair"

As long as Puppet H doesn't cut his hair.

That was a damn fine match. Glad I randomly tuned in tonight for that one.

So it's basically (to use a sports term) like a post-game show?

More like a documentary piece talking about the series I think.

That's exactly what it is Doc. Celebs come on and talk about the show.

Seeing as how Cesaro has such freakish strength, I think he should feud with Mark Henry when he returns. They could feud over who's the world's strongest man.

And Cesaro would still get no reaction from the crowd.

With CM Punk retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback and John Cena at Survivor Series on Sunday, thereby likely solidifying an expected match with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at Royal Rumble, the sports-entertainment organization's creative team has discussed a scenario where The Straight Edge Superstar would defeat The Great One at the annual January pay-per-view event. This would subsequently lead to Punk defending the title against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX, and Johnson facing Cena in a non-title re-match at the same event.

Original creative plans called for Johnson to defeat Punk at the Rumble, leading to a match against Cena for the title—which could still occur. Creative has given thought to how Johnson winning the WWE Championship would impact the product since there would be no titles defenses at houses shows for over two months, and also add a new issue of whether he would defend the title at the February pay-per-view event, Elimination Chamber. Not awarding Johnson would rectify this problem.

I was fine with Rock winning the title at RR only to give us something more in a Rock vs Cena match or even a triple threat with Rock/Cena/Punk, but if Punk indeed keeps the title, I'd love for him to have a match with Undertaker. BUT....that means there will be nothing new in a Rock/Cena match. That sounds disappointing to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rock vs Cena II is the main event though at WM 29 and not Punk vs 'Taker for the WWE title.

I think the woman's head is getting in the way of us seeing Drew McIntyre earning his next contract.

You are the best, Pink Ranger. Also if Punk does retain and faces Taker at WM29, that has to be the final match. It would be Title vs. Streak and that would overshadow even Rock/Cena II.If that's how it goes down, this is how I see the card going down

CM Punk vs. Undertaker-Steak vs. Title
Rock vs. John Cena II
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H- No Holds Barred
Sheamus vs. Randy Orton-World title
Big Show vs. Ryback
Team Hell No vs. Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Prime Time Players vs. Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins-Fatal Four TLC match for the Tag titles
Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio
Wade Barret vs. Christian-IC Title Match
Antonio Cesaro Vs. The Miz-U.S. Title Match

When Heath Slater is the most entertaining guy in the group there's something wrong.

I just finished watching the Attitude Era set. It was decent , but should of went longer. There's no narrative. It basically jumps all over the place and they tried to cram a lot into one hour. Big Show ,Road dog , Jim Ross , Mick Foley , Patterson , and Mark Henry do most of the interview segments. None of the wrestlers outside the era like Cena or CM Punk appear. Once again Vince Russo has a snippet of dialogue just like the NWO dvd. They re-use a lot of other interviews. It's nice to finally see the WWF logo and hear WWF during commentary. It's surreal looking back at how much they used to get away with. Also interesting to hear what they say about little kids witnessing some of the antics.

The special features are good. A lot of Raw footage I don't own. Also they show the build-up in segments and not just one part of it. There could be a second volume.

Yeah, now I know how Drew McIntyre fans feel lol.

I wonder who has more fans, him or the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats?

As I recall, the Bobcats have seven fans.

So wait? Now all of a sudden Taker is fit to wrestle at WM? Yet last month there were rumours about how bad all the injuries were affecting him that he was going miss next years mania.

To me Punk losing to Rock or Taker is the same thing, they both Part timers and won't hold the title for long.

So what's your opinion on WWE"13? Are the Heyman storylines good? I haven't decided whether or not to buy it.

Still has it's problems But I feel it's way better than WWE'12 and actually the best wrestling game in a while and many critics&fans seem to think so too,There pretty good and defiantly better than ever before But you don't get too many scenes though that often&especially not the ones with different options,You also have to unlock many of those scenes in two packs in Attitude Mode,There's TONS of new in total though and you can use all of them in a better way in Story Creator

I enjoyed playing the Attitude Era mode in WWE13 but it's annoying how you have to go outside of the ring to take out managers before finishing your opponent or else they will keep jumping on the apron to distract the referee when you're pinning your opponent, thus tediously prolonging the match.
