Am I the only one who thinks the Turtles looked better in the 90s live action films then they do in the modern films?

I don't think you are.

But back when I was young, I did love their look obviously but now when I look back, they look creepy.

You don't get the freedom of movement with costumes as you do with CG. You sacrifice the physical sense, but is what it is.

Yes, then there's that. The Turtles did things in the last movie that are vastly cooler than what we saw in the older movies.

I never see this argument made for other classic comic book or action movies. We tend accept the time they were made what we see on screen is the best they could do usually praise them for coming up with something engaging with the limitations of the technology.

I'd argue the animatronic suits, the method of shooting them and the dedication of the stunt actors in those suits specifically in the Steve Barron movie holds up well today. I would still put the rooftop battle with turtles and Shredder in the 1990 movie way above the tower top battle with the same characters in the reboot.

Sure you can widen the scope significantly with cgi (not that it's always a good idea to do so) but no one says that Captain America has to be all cgi to the stuff he does in Civil War. I still hold that the method they were going to use to bring the turtles to life back when Mirage was involved having people in rubber suits with cgi to animate the faces, correct flaws in the suits and do the physically impossible stunts.

But hey...we're down the rabbit hole. I just wish we had better quality cgi and better designs.

New TV Spot with a bunch of new footage, plus new shots of Krang.

Took some screen caps of Krang

The old ones do still hold up, but I like the new as much as the old.

Casey Jones looks weak not a fan of the look "Stacey Moans" :whatever:

but everything else looks really great never thought I would see Krang and he looks as good as a talking brain can look :ilv:

That's one ugly mother****er

Yep. They only time the turtles looked good were in the first movie. They got progressively with each movie and tv show/special. Pat 3 was by far the worst of the movies, and the Christmas special was the over all worst of every live action appearance.

Gotta get that ass shot.

Here's a new clip, actually its the freeway chase, but with a bunch of extra scenes, plus you can hear part of Steve Jablonsky's score on it.

Now that's how you take out trash.

"That's how I roll....(Headbutts) That's how you roll" Works everytime.

3 new TV Spots, the 1st one shows some new footage, and a bit of the Basketball scenes, apparently the Turtles were watching a game from the ceiling.

Scheduling conflict for voiceover work?

I still would have gone with Katt Williams.
