T3 and TS looked a lot better in trailers. IMO.

They did. The editor who cut Salvation's big trailer did a fantastic job. For me this film's ads have been downhill since the teaser. The teaser I was okay, but not enthusiastic. The big trailer for this completely put me off on the film.

The TS trailer is still one of my favorites of all time. Even with the fact that they spoiled the twist

Apparently, there's a Portuguese cam version of this online already.

Someone go watch it and tell us all what happens at the end. :o

Just saw it.

It ends with the T-800 coming home after resetting time only for Robocop to show up and tells him "You think you're the only killer robot in the world? Mr. T-800, you've become part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet."

:hehe:

''Dead or alive, come with me if you want to live!... wait a minute, that's not right.''

:woot:

The full plot is up on Wikipedia. Obviously it's all in the execution, but how it reads, the alternate timeline is all hand waved and they jump into a new story.

basically John Connor doesn't even get to be redeemed in his story

Wow. Sounds worse than I expected.

And I expected it to be BAD.

I'm really torn. I've seen all Terminator Films in theater so I want to keep that tradition going.

But this film looks to be soooo bad.

Why did they make this movie in the first place? Most people already knew it was going to be terrible. I mean Alan Taylor and Jai Courtney?? Emilia Clarke following in Linda Hamilton's foot steps? Yikes.

Only now do we know that Taylor is a bad director. Prior to this his TV work was still impressive even with awareness of Thor 2.

Maybe Taylor should stick to TV directing. Thor 2 was meh and TG, yikes.

The cast is what has done it for me. I've kinda grown on Clarke as Sarah but the fella as John and Jai Courtney are so miscast it's untrue. Also, in Courtney's case it doesn't help that he just an awful awful actor. He's as far away from Kyle Reese as is possible to get.

This reeks of going in the same direction as the Die Hard franchise, watered down and neutered to appeal to a wider audience.

*cough*jaicourtney*cough*

Yeah no coincidence, the man is a charisma vacuum. Ironic thing is he may actually have made a decent terminator, maybe, and he is about the only guy in this film that isnt one but whatever.

Didn't like how they [blackout]turned the T-800 into a liquid metal terminator[/blackout]. Bleh.
