Worthington was definitely a big standout in Salvation, especially that revelation scene. Overall, he's getting way too much flak from people who haven't even seen him in movies other than action movies where he can really show what he's capable of.
I kind of dislike the idea that just because an actor is not as expressive or expressive in the same way as another, then he's described as wooden, you see it all the time & so much that it kind of becomes the lazy adjective used to describe a performance when you don't know what else to call it.
Some actors tend to overact, others are way more subtle, quiet, it all takes place on the inside, I enjoy a flashy performance, but like the quiet ones better. At least, see him in movies like Somersault (where he got a lot of praise) or Texas Killing Field, Last Night or The Debt. A lot of people said he wouldn't get any work, guess what, aside from the Avatar sequels, he has like a jam-packed schedule with like 5 to 6 movies in 2015.
