Guys, read some of those reviews. There's some 3/5 (60% = fresh) reviews that are being counted as rotten. And some of the ones without ratings seem positive but are counted as rotten... just keep your minds open. And remember, these are the same people that liked T3.

Some complain about a lack of creativity but this is the first non-T1 rehash and has all new terminators and whatever Marcus is. And some of these guys liked some pretty bad films.. this is why I don't trust RT. I go with my gut.

I just read this in a review..

"Much is made in "Terminator Salvation" of the strength and sophistication of the new killing machines. One is about the size of a five-story building and has a machine gun for a head. Most are human-size and look like animated metal skeletons. However, at one point in the film, Skynet comes up with a new creation that has human skin and can speak, and the company calls it the ultimate infiltration machine.

But wait. All three previous "Terminator" villains looked human and were capable of speech. They could infiltrate human society, too. So how is this new model an advance?"

The rest of the review was fine, but that right there made me want to bang my head against a wall...that is almost as bad as the people on IMDb asking why Kyle is young and/or not dead in this movie

 to the max.

Terminator: Salvation current score on RT stands at 25% with 20 reviews counted. 5 Fresh 15 Rotten.

Excerpts from the latest reviews:

"I'm sure it will be happy news in some circles when I say that director McG's addition to the franchise is a big, blasting, tush shaking video game of a movie. And, it will make a fortune." - The Movie Minute

"Who ever thought in 2003 that we'd look back on Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines as the good old days?" - The San Francisco Chronicle

"It’s basically a cheap thrill. An expensive cheap thrill". - The Kansas City Star

what I posted was from the SF Chronicle review...

Cool.

I'm just using the excerpts that both the reviewer and RT thought best represented this critics review and its the one that was posted on the site as well.

RT is now at 38%rotten but 68% fresh from users.

That is a big jump. I feel like it's impossible for this movie to end up rating less than 50% on RT. It looks too good. :word:

Well time travel is a confusing son of a ***** for noobs
It depends on how you use it, I guess. I always thought that time travel, as used in T1, was a circular sort of reality. Kyle going back in time to father John Connor was always an eventuality. There were no other options for alternate timelines or whatever.

Using "alternate" realities and timelines is just confusing, especially when you don't have a wormhole excuse like Star Trek did. :funny:

Yeah, people couldn't trip over each other fast enough in the race to post all of the negative Wolverine reviews, but somehow this is different
Because Wolverine was Fox and Rothman taking over the set and Barakapool. :cmad:

And Terminator is WB and Christian MF'ing Bale and giant robots and Jonah Nolan. :csad: And McG. :funny:

McG will be on Last Call with Carson Daly tonight on NBC 1:35 ET

Wow! I'm pretty surprised that Carson Daly has been able to hold on to that show since nobody really watches him. :wow:

McG should have gone to Conan, Leno, Letterman, or even Kimmel? Especially since this isn't a no name franchise they are promoting.

yeah, I didn't even know Carson was still on until a few weeks ago. I guess he doesn't really have much to go up against at that hour...

Hey is there any way to remove a vote from a poll? I accidentally gave it a "1" and I haven't even seen the movie yet.
