Two? Are you talking about Star Trek? Because the only people who didn't like that film seemed to be Trekkies, and they're by far in the minority of the general audience.

Probably Watchmen and Wolverine ...

Capone over at AICN has an interesting review up ...

I always enjoy his writing and what he says lifts the mood slightly .... not much, but a little.

No, I'm not exactly a Trekkie and I thought that Star Trek was pretty much a mess of a film. My review is in my sig if you're interested. And the other one I was talking about was Wolverine, which is definitely the worst movie I've seen this summer so far.

Also, Watchmen was quite good.

Terminator: Salvation now back to 39% on RT with 67 reviews. Fresh 26 Rotten 41.

Latest review excerpts from RT:

"There's a certain, sad sci-fi irony when one considers that the first Terminator film to feature a robot with a human heart is also the first film in the series that feels like it has no soul."

- TV'Guide's Movie guide

As long as McG keeps the action moving, the film remains on solid ground, matching and often surpassing the thoroughly adequate 2003 entry Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

And speaking of Star Trek, was Christian Bale channeling William Shatner or something? What....was....with.....the....long.....pause.....between....every.....word?

ROTFL! My buddy and I were joking about his pauses too. However, I thought Bale was the only one who could act in the movie.

There is no competition as far as I'm concerned. Salvation is a billion times better than T3. Still not even close to the first two Terminator films but it's a huge improvement.

Agreed....I saw the leaked footage and the film in a theater yesterday and it was easily better than T3.

I wouldn't say the movie is as big of a disaster as Punisher Warzone.

Warzone's budget is like what? 20 million or something. That's different when Terminator is 10 times more. Expectations for it will be different.

edit: it's 35 million

I trust jimmy O and Arrow out of any online critic right now, but I'm hearing the same complaint from a couple places. It not just a couple fanboys, it's people who have similar tastes.

And the main thing that bogged me about Warzone was misjudging the tone. The movie looked great visually, but the tone and style wasn't right. I tottally misjudged what it was from the trailers, and hated it.

I have a bad feeling about this. Hopefully it'll be like Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, where all the critics hated it & I loved it.

Indiana Jones 4 is actually a pretty good comparison actually unless this movie tanks :D .

The critics actually kinda liked that movie(78% on RT), it was the fanboys that hated it. I also liked it..

In my opinion, no. Despite its campiness and lack of intensity, T3 still contained better performances and at least a half-baked theme of predestination and acceptance of fate that made it semi-interesting. Plus, the ending and crane-truck chase were really great.

T4 just feels kind of empty, one-note and isn't really that entertaining to sit through.

I thought the beginnig of T3 was excellent. With John's voiceover and it transitioning to the future. The ending was even better as well.

Love or or hate it, you have to admit, they had balls to pull an ending like that.

Indy 4 was great until the ending

Hmmm.... I remember mediocre reviews which this film is getting.
Indy 4 was great until the ending

The aliens can be forgotten, plus I liked the wedding. Especially when Mutt tries to put the hat on & fails.

Latest review excerpts from RT:

"Skynet may not have ensured its own future, yet. But their robots have clearly made serious inroads in our movies."

- New York Star-Ledger

"This time out, the studio has gone for stuntwork. Here's hoping that, once the inevitable follow-up hits screens, there'll be more vision and less violence."

- Popmatters

Nearly 2:1 bad vs good... even though I never expected much... I am suprised.

I'm sick of the T3 bashing. Is it as good as T2? Of course not, but most action movies aren't. There were some cheesy moments, and T-X was a step down from T-1000, but I think the overall idea of pre-destination, as someone mentioned, was well done.

Clearly, there is a huge gap here between what the critics think of this movie and what fans think of this movie. Further evidence that the movie was made with fans in mind, but not so much with the general audience in mind.

I hope not. We won't get an improved sequel if the GA won't watch it.
