A cool tidbit in the next movie would be the wreck of a red/blue truck with flames on it...
Exactly.Yikes. So apologetic it hurts. Also, since when is IMDB respected?IMDB is about as respected in the film industry as Wikipedia is respected in academia.
Show me a scientific poll that proves audiences are loving this and I will concede your point. In the mean time, don't try to write off internet polls as any more than they are.
Would love for Bale to scream a little more. Felt like he was holding back a bit..![]()

Wow I hope Arnold is in T5 as well otherwise you guys will still rip it no matter how good or bad it
is. Judging by responses, the 3rd Act is the most well received. Hopefully they go the Nolan route and make one long climax like TDK (not a bad thing)![]()
t:Why would the Terminator fans want to hate a Terminator movie? I'd think my fellow fans would want to love the movie. Nobody seems to be dis-missing your opinion, they are just stating theirs. I'm glad you loved it and I hope I love it as much as you did.I seriously feel that, most people on here who bash this movie non stop since it came out wanted to see it fail from the get go.
I hope there is another Terminator. I hope Bale screams more & louder. Along with more explosions.
Goodnight
What fan in their right might would WANT a product of their beloved franchise to fail? C'mon now. Unless they have very good reasons to believe it's a disaster, that just doesn't happen.I seriously feel that, most people on here who bash this movie non stop since it came out wanted to see it fail from the get go.
That's like saying we wanted Begins to fail after B&RI seriously feel that, most people on here who bash this movie non stop since it came out wanted to see it fail from the get go.
I hope there is another Terminator. I hope Bale screams more & louder. Along with more explosions.
Goodnight

Out of curiousity, has any one yet given a satisfactory explanation on HOW the machines would know that a civilian (Kyle Reese) and a lowly grunt at the time (John Connor) were so important to the resistance?

I bought into the hype, I wanted this movie to be good very much, but it just didn't click at all.

I thought about this and came up with this answer.
Clearly, before Skynet destroyed the entire world, it is plausable that they archived various snippets of information about the human race across the globe.
Perhaps while scanning their databases, they stumbled upon a file about some raving woman talking about machines from the past, "Skynet," judgement day, etc.
Within those files they deciphered the names John Connor and Kyle Reese and came to the logical conclusion that these two humans are apparently vital to the human resistance and thus made it a priority to find and eliminate these threats.
Long story short...Skynet knew because they had learned about the events that occured in T1, T2 and T3 and all the major players.
That's my story and i'm sticking to it.![]()
Plus....I think fans are liking the movie...its just a few vocal people that don't. I mean for example...just look at this poll. Personally I don't think these people bashing this film because of Bale. I don't think they even understand who John Connor is. He's exactly like how Sarah Connor was in T2.....but do they bash Sarah in that movie...no. They still want the little kid Connor or something.
Really...he didn't scream so much IMO. I don't see what people are talking about. In fact there's many moments where he's soft spoken and in reflection.
"These films were cutting edge for their time, with everything rooted in real scientific technology, from robotics to nanotechnology with the T-1000. That's what made them so special...because everything in the Terminator films was done with practicality and with reality in mind. No cheesiness, no corniness. The Cameron Terminators weren't just "Summer fun." They were top notch, well-written dramas mixed with solid acting and state of the art special effects.
