Movie sucked... anyone want it.... DVD, once watched.... 2 bucks plus shipping...

Just picked up the Blu-ray. I'll be watching it later tonight.

He's also a producer on next year's HUMAN TARGET TV series. And I think he also worked on the short-lived Fox series, FASTLANE.

Blu-Ray prices all around have gotten better lately. Paying $15 for a Blu-Ray when it was $35 as early as last year, right?
Yes I remember that, I love the price drop on new BR movies!

I got my copy from Amazon, I can't wait to get home and watch TS on BluRay!

cheaper BR is starting to get interesting. maybe a BR player in 2010?

Finally saw it!

You know what?

Loved it. Wished I had gone and saw it at the movies now. Instead, i'll buy the blu-ray. I was entertained the entire time. Didn't let me down at all.

Some of the reviews I read must have been crack induced...or I saw a different movie.

I went with Best Buy. I had layed down the $5 for the pre-order a few weeks ago to get that comic (if you didn't get it, you didn't miss anything), so I plunked down the balance of $15 today for the Blu-ray.
I struggled with getting the Endoskull case, but in the end I couldn't justify the $15 more for that thing. Especially considering A)The movie is just OK, and B) It is likely to double dip soon.
If I were still buying DVD, then Target would definitely be the way I would have gone. It's the only DVD with the Directors cut and any special features. That's what makes me think there will be a double dip.

For those that are on the fence, I found a link that details all of the versions of the release.

I didn't think it was that bad. Now answer me this...

Will the entire cycle start again? In other words, will the Arnold terminator be sent back to kill off Sarah and therefore Reese would need to be sent back?

Well the proposed idea for this new 'trilogy' was for the 3rd movie in this series to end with Reese being sent back to 1984 by John (Christian Bale) to protect his mother...

So yes, it was supposed to end the way it began, thus bringing the series full circle.

But it'll probably never happen now.

Well, i'm hoping it did well enough (maybe with dvd/blu-ray sales) to warrent another movie...I'd be totally pumped for one after seeing this one.

Hopefully I get my BD tomorrow, it said originally today, but I didn't mind since I got 8 Blu-rays in today from the Black Friday sales. Can't wait to watch it again, it has many flaws, but it's still entertaining. Now that I've seen Transformers: ROTF, well, I think it's safe to say that a summer action film can come out much worse than TS

I thought it was because of the holiday season. Once Christmas is over, prices will go back up, right?

Not at walmart , they've been using low prices on most of their dvds since at least september.

the paramount 2 disc dvds have been like 19.99 or 21.99 instead of the usual 24.99

And sometimes the blu rays being cheaper then the 2 disc dvds.

Problem is that whatever money they'll make off of the dvd/blu-ray sales will more than likely go to all the people the producers failed to pay in full for the movie i.e. McG and Chris Bale among them...

People would pay heavy cash to be in that screening and be able to throw that blu-ray case at McG.

I still don't get why people thought this movie sucked, I enjoyed it more than any movie I saw at the theaters this year.

I really do hope they make a sequel.

Just ordered it from Wal-Mart, for like $16 bucks and some change. I should get to see it soon.

As for a sequel...I'm still curious, dispite my not having seen the film yet, if it's possible.

I thought there was probably bad blood with the studio...or maybe just the higher ups involved...and Bale. I don't know what happens to the rest of the films if the star doesn't come back. Another re-cast, maybe?
