Don't like Chuck, not a fan of Matthew M + I heard We Are Marshall isn't good.

Man, is this thread still going? What more could possibly be said about this movie?

I always figured she was paraphrasing, but that's a point made.
I think it was great of Cameron to change the ending from the Future Coda to the dark highway, it left it ambiguous. Even if the characters didn't change the future, it was a highlight of the human spirit that they tried

Personally, I always preferred Judgement Day being unavoidable, thats why I liked T3 more than most people did. I dont mind other aspects being changed, but Judgement Day needs to happen in this mythology IMO because in a way mankind needs it too.

Yeah, I think I might pick it up through Wal Mart.com for $15 for the Blu-Ray with free shipping.

I might go that route.

I pre-ordered the single disc version for $9.99 from Amazon.

Might be getting mine from Target tonight.

Blu-Ray prices all around have gotten better lately. Paying $15 for a Blu-Ray when it was $35 as early as last year, right?

I thought it was because of the holiday season. Once Christmas is over, prices will go back up, right?

I dunno. I've noticed these prices for quite a while.

It'd be tough to go back up to $35 again after, what feels like quite some time, at $20.

In store, the Blu-Ray's are about $20. I think we'll still see those prices after the holidays as well. I think Star Trek had the same price as well when it came out. Probably still does.

Yup, it still does. So did Wolverine when it came out{actually it's $10 on Amazon right now}.

Same here. I wish JC had tied it into a bow by making his own T3. Would've made a great two parter ala the recent Che movies.

Yeah, while I actually liked T3 and didnt think it was that bad, Cameron should have finished this series, he needed too.

why must it always be a trilogy?

It always does not, but regardless the Terminator mythos has so much to offer, so many stories, in such a rich vast amazing universe.

Didn't Cameron talk about an Avatar trilogy? To me that has less potential then Terminator continuing past the second.

Terminator has so much going on in its complex world, and sadly three and four did not reach the potential they could have. There are so many amazing things that could have been done with it, and keeping with Cameron's universe with no plot holes "ala T3 and T4."

I am one that still see's great potential for the Terminator mythos, sadly they would need to Superman Returns it, and start fresh after the great T1 and T2. The story of man vs. machine will be prevalent for a long time.

IMO Terminator: The Sarah conner chronicles was a proper continuation of Camerons Terminator movies.

Then it wouldn't have failed and ended on a cliffhanger after the second season.
