So I gather blu-ray prices are dropping in the U.S. Here, in Canada, new ones go for about $30 still. Hence, why my blu-ray collection consists of only 5 or 6 discs :(

I was sooooo happy to see the T1 surprise attack in the beginning on the directors cut!

Well...I think it's all just coming down together. HDTV's are as low priced as they've ever been, and ever since Blu-Ray murdered HD-DVD with a kitchen knife, people have had an actual direction on what format to buy.

It's in the interest of these companies that we buy Blu-Ray and need to buy Blu-Ray players and need to buy HDTV's...so makes sense that the Blu-Ray prices are more reasonable now.

Yeah. Me too. :yay:

The biggest problem with the DC though, is it doesn't add or remove enough to make it a different film. The changes are good, they just aren't significant.

I mean, I personally liked the film, but there's some problems in there that could've probably been solved in a DC, like pacing, or character development, or just the sometimes odd editing.

I noticed a few more shots during the final scene, which I really liked. I'm very happy with the DC, yeah there could of been more but i'm not gonna complain

How are the rest of the deleted scenes if anyone has seen them?

The Sarah Connor Chronicles was worse than Terminator 3. That's all I needed to not like it as a series. I watched...but I didn't like it.

Kyle's brother was the only worthwhile contribution.

I never thought it was possible to do a Future War Terminator film and do it justice to the first two.

Yea TS was horrible to me, *sadly* and T3 was decent, but not the best. But TSCC was beyond bad, it made TS look decent IMO. Just cheap feeling all around, I can't believe I watched the entire series, but it was bad. Which proved it self when it was canceled.

I watched the first episode where the Terminator teacher turned to the camera and did a one liner, and then the Terminator from the dream sequence said "it's over WE won" or something along those lines. Those 2 things were enough to say screw the show, to me at least.

I laughed and turned it off. Never looked back.

Hey, TSCC is better in just about every way than Terminator Salvation and is a much better continuation than TS will ever be.

I will go on record as saying I enjoyed Salvation ALMOST as much as T2.

I was torn between the regular DVD and the DC version. I saw the DVD version only had two minutes more content, 117 minutes instead of 115 minutes. Was the DC really that much different or better than the regular DVD? How many more scenes were added?

Regarding TSCC, I liked the first season though the finale wasn't great. The second season got bogged down and moved at a snail's pace. It was starting to get interesting again, right before it got cancelled.

I enjoyed the cast for the most part. Lena Headly, Summer Glau, and Brian Austin Green were all great. I also didn't mind the dude playing Agent Ellison. Dude played Connor was so-so. I blame that more on the writing than the actor himself though. Never cared much for Cromartie though he became a fan fav. Shirley Manson's character was pretty creepy though, especially when she interacted with her 'daughter'. This show had potential, and for the most part I thought it was better than T3 and TS.

If T5 is ever made, I hope they do some type of shout out to Derek Reese-he has to be made canon in the films, and maybe Cameron.

This is a sincere question: if i loved the Transformers movies, will i enjoy this movie?

If you watch Transformers for machines and actions, probably.

If you watch Transformers for all of the comic relief, probably not. This film doesn't have much humor.

I love T1 and T2 but I don't hate this movie. I like it. Nowhere near as much as I thought I would from that trailer and no where near as much as those two films. But I put it over T3. I think Sarah Connor Chronicles is better than both T3 and TS. Damn I miss that show.

It has no heart, no soul. Therefore...if you think Terminator 1 and 2 are good films, you wont like it.
