If the picks weren't random it wouldn't look so bad that Cena got drafted twice. Plus it would give the general managers more room to express their character.

Quick question -- with Alberto Del Rio being drafted to RAW (and in theory, the WWE Title now sure to stay on RAW) does this give Christian any chance to win the World Title?

I had always assumed (based on Vince's reported perception of him) that Christian would never win a world title in WWE, but this seems like his best shot.

It seems like in situations like these WWE deliberately does the opposite (Del Rio wins and they figure out some way to get a title to Smackdown) but I really hope Christian wins. One of my all time favorites.

Well that was a wonderful use of two draft picks.....

That was too obvious that I didn't want to believe it. No point to that supposed swerve at all.
So I guess Cena being moved back to Raw gave him a energy boost?
Gets clobbered by Henry, takes the SCF for the pin, up and cleaning house about 2 minutes later. Par for the course, unfortunately.

Mark Henry&R-Truth.....New Nation of Domination!

Exactly how I feel.

It would have worked better if they stretched the draft out for a couple weeks like the 05 draft.

What did I say earlier???

A quick Mark Henry heel turn and you can IMMEDIATELY throw him in the upper midcard.

Henry as a monster heel vs Cena on SD could have been fun, now Henry has turned heel and there no one for him to face as the guy he turned on is back on Raw, unless the diea is for him to take the belt from Chrisitian and transition it to Randy.

I'd say it's pretty much a guarantee that he'll win unless they do decide to take the title off of Miz, but since Cena is staying on Raw and unless Morrison gets sent to SD in the supplemental draft, I don't see that happening.

They'll put the belt on Christian now because it's a good story of him and his history with Edge and his forced retirement. While some of Vince and creative decisions can be confusing at times, the recognize when they can turn around real life happenings into an on-screen feel good storyline. That's essentially how Mysterio got his first title after Eddie died.

So...Who's going to be the top heel on smackdown?Henry?

Oh crap..............The only thing for Orton to do on Smackdown right now is either turn heel or feud with The Corre....

So wait.....Alberto Del Rio was predicted by many to win on Sunday, and yet he was moved to Raw during the draft and The Miz wasn't?

Maybe there is hope for Christian after all.

I'd love if they went that way... But from watching WWE over the years, they rarely go the obvious direction when it comes to these things.

I'm thinking of 2008, when both champs (Hunter, Edge) were moving to Smackdown, and it was assumed one would lose... But they both won. Punk cashes in MITB, and voila, we have a new RAW champ.

I don't know how they'd do it, and I really hope I'm wrong but I'm really afraid Christian doesn't win.

Odds are they will end The Corre (and I wouldn't be surprised if they fired Heath Slater, he's been taking the pins) and Barrett can be built up as a heel against Orton. Kane will be a heel again, Henry will be too. Cody can be moved up.

With Big Show on Raw and a likely Kane heel turn, I'm starting to think that my off the cuff prediction of them retiring the tag belts may actually be in the cards...

The fact that Mark Henry was taken in the regular draft means that the WWE has some plans for him.

So they replace Edge with Randy Orton. He'll be the top face of the brand. Orton going to Smackdown was predicted when the draft was announced last week at the same time that Adam Copeland was going to retire.

And I knew that Cena was going to be drafted back to Raw as soon as Orton was drafted. No way that the WWE moves Cena unless they did not move Orton.

Yeah I'm not getting my hopes up because historically Christian gets screwed by WWE drafts.
