Good job Larry! Thanks for posting in here also! The movie is getting great reviews.....glad you were a part of it. You were cool as Finch until......BAM!

Yeah, Nolan loves damaging this old body of mine. Glad you liked the film, and thanks so much for the kind words. Best, Larry Holden.

Will do. Best, Larry Holden.

cheers , i hope chris is one of those directors who actually like to hear the fans opinons, out of interest do you keep in touch with Guy Pearce and has he seen batman begins yet, if so what are his opinons on it?

A guy that gets a bit of fan support for the sequel is the writer Andrew Kevin Walker. Not sure if you seen it, but his most prominient film is Se7en. If you ever get a chance to talk to Nolan, tell him about this tidbit.

I used to bump into Guy from time to time, but haven't seen him or talked to him in a few years. One helluva guy. Best, Larry Holden.

Hmmm... will try and check it out. Thanks. Larry Holden.

are you allowed to give us your overall opinion on Batman begins?

Sure... but I haven't seen it yet, believe it or not. And I had to miss the LA premiere, as well as the rest, because of prior commitments (but I'm really uncomfortable with all that stuff anyway, just ask my wife, who got dragged down the red carpet at the Insomnia because I was rushing inside). But I will say this - it's Chris Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, dp Wally Phister, pd Nathan Crowley and one helluva cast, so how could it not be amazing? Know what I mean? But I hope to see it very soon, hopefully this weekend. Did you like it? Best, Larry Holden.

Wow. Larry Holden is here. God, remember when we were all speculating that he'd be Dent or Gordon? Haha, the good old days.

Anyway, do you have any other films lined up now that Begins is out of the way?

Well I liked it alot but I felt there was too much to tell in 2:30 so the pacing was too fast in some segments. Thats why everybody's asking for a directors cut. Cool to post here and hey if you want to call me to prove its you...it would be nice to chat with an actor from Begins ...just jokin.:D

Ah, Larry. An Irishman like myself.

What would you think of Guy Pearce taking over your job as Gotham City DA aka Harvey Dent?

BTW, it's really cool of you to do this. Try and persuade a few of your co-stars or maybe your director to give us a visit.

Finch!!! It's a shame you met your untimely demise...wouldve loved to see you and dent faceoff...

i did, but not as good as expected, it felt scenes were heavily cut in places as the pacing of scenes didn't seem to flow well unlike Nolan's previous films, the score was good but seemed to be used a lot with the dialogue which felt annoying at times, fights scenes were a bit dodgy as you couldn't tell who was hitting who and the last 20 mins of the film felt rushed to me but from saying that the cast was excellent including yourself and bale is the best batman to date, just was hoping for a more gritter batman movie overall in the style of memento.

it was good to see you in the film, Mr. Holden. maybe in Batman 2 they'll let you shoot someone in the back ;)

Howdy Larry.

A shame you'll miss The Joker in the next one. He'll put a smile on your face whether you want it or not ;)

Right now I'm focusing on finishing my own films, which are in post right now, but Batman Begins seems to have a lot of filmmakers getting in touch, especially indie guys who want to use me to raise funds, which is always cool (the low budget ones are incredibly fun to do, believe it or not). So, yeah, it seems like I'll be busy soon. And regarding Dent or Gordon, I'm sure everybody was pulling for other guys, and who can blame them. Chris and Emma asked if I wanted to be Finch, and I said hell yeah. I was never even considered for anything else, as far as I know - but, again, I'm sure everybody's over the moon with the cast Chris assembled. Well, I hope so, anyway. Best, Larry Holden ([email protected])

Surely you must have a part in The Exec

Yeah, I know... but I'm growing long hair and a beard just in case Chris wants to sneak me in there somewhere. Best, Larry Holden ([email protected])

Thanks... but who knows, right? I'm just grateful Chris has used me as much as he has. Seriously. But man... sure, I hope so. I always have a blast with those guys. Best, Larry Holden. ([email protected])

That would be heaven... to be on the other side of a gun in a Nolan film for once... Ha. Best, Larry Holden

Larry Holden, here? God, I love the internet. (No questions, I just wanted to post that it's great you came here to talk to fans. )

I'll tell you... it IS amazing. I just returned home from the theatre (almost 3 AM here)... you did a great job, as all the people involved. I can only thank you guys for making such a wonderful movie, so I hope you get to do more and more like this. Thumbs up...

sorry to hear that. hang in there a bit, and then watch it again, maybe. they still got the right director, though, don't you think? Best, Larry Holden

Speculation was, for about two days, that you were Dent or Gordon, then we found out you were Finch and started speculating about that.

Speculation is what we do here. :D

And being a filmmaker myself, I know the low-budget stuff is fun. Not that I know yet how fun big budget is, but still.
