She lost.....its been called.

Why do you care? It's doubtful she would have had much influence on Canada, or even knows that its the country to our north.

Sestak is doing well in PA too with only 3% of votes in.

You know her personally?

I mean, I don't like her politics in particular, nor do I think she has the intelligence to hold the office she was running for....but "hate"....no, I don't know her personally enough to "hate" her.

*sighs* governor....

it looks like Blumenthal is going to win the Senate seat and Foley has a tight lead for the Governors seat

Ha, no :csad:

But she seems to a Pailin like person. Perhaps worse

But, she will not have any power in government. Hooray America! :o

Not really surprised at those...except that Blumenthal is a blooming idiot......he just didn't have a strong enough opponent, just one with a lot of money.

yea, pretty much....well on the Governors race, Connecticut is about to see its first non Republican governor since 1980 so we'll see how that goes

Oh dear god...the Ohio Governor's race is now tied. :csad:

I wouldn't call that one just yet......

I have Kasich winning that one on my list.

CNN is projecting that the Republicans will take at least 50 seats

I am predicting 55+

Obama was the moron that waffled on Don't Ask Don't Tell in the first place after campaigning for it previously.

HIS ADMINISTRATION BLOCKED THE REVERSING OF DON'T ASK DON'T TELL! He said it should be decided by Congress and not the courts! LOL!

Hey Obama, should Congress have ruled on integration of schools too?

I'm watching Marco Rubio's acceptance speech on CNN. He is sounding very populist. He also said that if the GOP 'misterprets this vote as an american embrace of Republican policy, it is a mistake.' He went onto say that it's a second chance the GOP can't afford to screw up.

I feel like a 2 year old could convince crowds to vote for them.

Preach basic logic principles while telling people their own problems, and theyll love you.

I was under the impression that the potentially backfireing move would allow it to reach the supreme court faster, or something along those lines, I agree though it was a bad move.

You mean employ the Obama strategy?

Or Obama should've manned up and supported it like he did previously instead of waffle on it.

The military was willing to go along with the court's ruling as well. Obama's administration stopped it with a BS excuse. It's like saying Congress should've decided on Brown vs. Board.
