About to take a shower and head out. I hope it's dead. Ha, maybe not. As I wrote that sentence my brother just called the shower. Damn, oh well. Don't want to wait too long though. I figure after people start getting out of work, that's when it's going to start getting crowded.

I voted about an hour or so ago. They moved my polling place this year and there was actually alot of people in line to vote.

Just finished voting. Lots of races with no Democrats running. So in those races I voted Libertarian for fiscal offices and Green Party for social offices.

I know I've said this a couple of times recently, but I have never felt so bitter and cynical about politics as I do now. The Democrats have an uncanny ability to screw themselves over and the Republicans are offering nothing more than the same sad policies that got us into this mess in the first place. This time, though, they have 'rebranded' that disaster with the same message of 'change' that the Democrats used in 2008.

The best thing that could happen to President Obama's re-election campaign is to have to deal with an obstructionist GOP for two years.

Dems were back in control in 2006 and they blamed everything on Bush when they were the ones writing the policy. I think both parties had their hands in the pot when the stand fell out from beneath us all.

I've actually decided not to vote this year, and see what happens. I'm a Democrat, but I also see myself as a moderate and somewhat independent, so I'm not going to see the Dems through some rose-tinted glasses. Democrats have done some good things in the past two years, but they have also screwed up as well. I don't think Republicans will do much better, esp. if the Tea Party is chasing away all the moderates or politicians with common sense.

Not really. I'm just tired of all the s*** going on in Washington. Both parties have been taken over by the fringe elements on the ground level and the politicians on both sides not only serve their corporate masters but they're using talking points used by the Becks and the Olbermans .

It starts. CNN has called Indiana and Kentucky for Republican candidates Dan Coates and Rand Paul, respectively. This means one GOP Senate pickup so far and one Democratic loss.

It's funny that Americans don't realize that no matter what happens today, nothing will change. At the end of the day, all of these fools are politicians who are concerned with only one person.
