anyone want to help me on my XBOX LIVE question?

i got the premium 360 today......can someone tell me how to go about setting up XBOX LIVE? because i got the headset and cords with the premium system and i think when you buy the premium dont you get a silver subscription or something? any help would be great.

Do you have a broad band internet connection?

If so, what type is it?

Have you connected an ethernet cable from your router to your X360?

OR

Have you bought the wireless adapter to hook up to your wireless network?

They do give you a free silver membership with premium.

You get a free Silver account with all the 360 including the core....and you get a free one month gold trial.

You just need a broadband connection. Pkug your modem into your XBox, enter your ISP's stuff and bang....XBox Live.

well i have DSL. no i havent connected anything or bought the wireless adapter.

YOU ONLY NEED A 'LIVE'-COMPATIBLE ROUTER, NOT A MODEM. I DON'T THINK YOU WOULD EVEN NEED THE ROUTER, IF YOUR XBOX WAS THE ONLY DEVICE IN YOUR HOUSE USING YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION.

THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERED ME, FROM THE DEMO ANYWAY, IS THE KICKING. WHEN YOU DO A HIGH-KICK, IT LOOKS LIKE THE LEG IS COMING OUT OF YOUR FOREHEAD, BECAUSE IT'S TOO CLOSE TO YOUR BODY.

HOLY CRAP! the local games shop got their X360 demo unit from M$ today (Along with a huge SAMSUNG HD LCD screen ).

Man am I impressed. Its great to finally see it in action and I am sorry I ever doubted the console.

Played a few minutes of PDZ... nice although the voice acting is painful

Spent a little time on PGR3... loved every second of it.

Anyway after a few minutes of playing and being totally impressed, the guy who owns the store goes "Oh, whoops... the screen is not set to HD yet."

A few minutes later and we turn the X360 back on....



I'm in love... I dont care how much it costs or how much a HD TV costs. I just know I need them now.
