Anyone going to get Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter? It looks to be really good. It's probably the game that I'm most looking forward to until Dead Rising comes out. I'm not much of an Oblivion guy.

yeh bought it.

honestly i think this games a renter. the guns are fun for a while and the racing is decent. id rather play NFSMW or PGR3 to race online, and if i have to shoot stuff PDZ and halo fit the bill for that. the reason i put it out like this is the conjunction of shooting and driving has to be done extremely well for me to want to play it otherwise ill play those genres seperately. the problem is i think it takes to long to blow other cars up no matter how good you are, i think the aiming mechanic needs work and should be able to have better range of motion. and theres simply not enough weapons.

one of my favorite racing shooters is Extreme G for N64, further installments of the franchise sucked... im of the opinion that racing shooters should be in a futuristic setting, at high speeds and with a wide variety of weapons that do various strategic crap... Full auto seems shallow in weapons in that your most powerfull is a rocket launcher but in choosing it you forgo backward bombs... for a sh|tty smokescreen, in the middle you got the shotgun with ok bombs and in the backend of the weapons spectrum you have a fixed(un-aim-able) machine gun and heavy powered rear bombs. the best car in the game looks like what i think the first car you got should have looked like, and they should have progressed from there. i think they tried to adhear to a modern model to much with real cars... which is great for a regular racer like i said but if we are already mounting rocket launchers on our cars... then lets skip the sherade already and move to 'Forsaken' and "extreme G" type vehicles and weapons. if the racing was great i would overlook the weapons but its par for the course.

the turn back time thing is cool only in that it saves youir ass in single player and your lost without it in multiplayer because you cant turn time back in a real time competition with other players, having spammed the time tool you never really get as good as you would have by not having such a sh|tty crutch to fall back on if you cant take the turns right.

Hey guys I am playing Dead Or Alive 4 & I am wondering why did they not bother to Dub the Characters in English ? It doesnt bother m that they dont speak English its not like its a Story Based Game its all Fighting. But I am just wondering why they didnt take the time if they did the Menus & Announcers in English

one of the dead or alive games was dubbed in english and it was horrible. DOA2 Hardcore i beleive

it sounds like each charachter during gameplay speaks their own language, with their battle grunts and so on. but all menus and Movies are in Japanese(i believe). Plus by this point its almost become a symbol of the game... tradition if you will.
