I'm going to second what THWIP* said, why are you basing what you play on what other people think. Just as many people will hate/talk down about the PS3 or the Revolution. If that'll be your attitude, just don't buy any of the systems.

llamasoft was jeff minters company. famous for the shareware game revenge of the mutant camals and llamatron. yes jeff minter did work on the visualizer. he also did the music visualizer for the jaguar cd.

What kick ass Xbox 360 games will be comming out for the system aside from Dead or Alive 4 and Gears of War? And what Xbox games should I get that are backwards compatable on the Xbox 360? I'll most likely be getting one when there are more games availiable and more 360's also.

Yeah, nothing good is out, eBay for the 1200 bucks and then bath in your money until it becomes widely available.

Gears of War is the ONLY game coming out. DOA4 is for perverts who don't know hardcore fighting games.

From what I've read, Team Ninja has fixed many problems with DOA's fighting system in DOA4. All the characters now have more varied and revamped move lists, the counter system has been imported from DOA Ultimate, not to mention the window for pulling them off has been cut by half, thereby making it a lot more harder to successfully land a counter. Those revamps and overhauls alone could potentially make DOA4 a very competitive alternative to the Tekkens and Virtua Fighters out there for fighting game aficionados like myself.

DOA already has the best and most interactive environments yet in a fighting game and DOA4 seems to have taken it to the next level.

In my opinion, the 4 player Tag Battle mode alone is reason enough to put money on DOA4. I know I will.

As soon as the game hits store shelves, I'm getting a 360.

Just get Ninja Gaiden Black. You'll have such a blast getting your own ass kicked, you'll become a masochist. And already it looks amazing. If the 360 supports 720p for Black, you'll drown in your own spit from all that drooling. Hands down THE best Xbox game I've played yet.

Then there's Chronicles of Riddick. Another great game if you haven't played it yet. Far Cry Instincts is also a wise choice, provided you haven't been spoiled by the rich beauty of the PC version.

I'd recommend both games by Bioware - KOTOR and Jade Empire as well as the other not-so-loved RPG, Fable The Lost Chapters (just keep your keep expectations reasonable).

There are more, but I'd have to take a look at my Xbox library for that. Perhaps WHF can fill in the blanks.

yep me too. my parents got me a 360 game but i have no system. they said they had a chance at getting one but they ere 5 minutes too late. i am going to be sitting at target ever morning to see if they get one in.
