Cool, thanks kal...

I would definitely buy one of these toys. An intermittent flashing \S/ symbol

Its like God ****ed on my computer monitor and that is what it produced!

Why are they using the returns symbol???? I thought they were going for the classic symbol example Reeve \S/

It has to have that bubble at the end to be the official Superman symbol. Thats the Returns symbol which makes me wonder what type of outfit we might see him in.

maybe im not up on the intricacies of the \S/ but they all look the same to me....how can you call that the returns symbol? its not raised, or maroon. ITS RED!!! it the SV symbol!

No the returns \S/ is the same thing Smallville is using? I am just wondering why. I always thought they would do the \S/ to look more like Reeve or is this part of the rule everything related to Superman must be kept close with the movie rule?

the top right corbner of the S is totally different.

I can see why you'd say that but it isnt a perfect copy of the SR one either.

I am not saying it has to be a perfect coopy but that is the Returns \S/ . Hell even the comics are using it now

Well it fits the show thats why. SV is more light heart whil the movie had a more darker tone. Kind of like why Superman changed his symbol for Kingdom Come and colors to more darker because he was more darker.

The \S/ does look like the Returns \s/ however the diamond doesn't.

The Reeve S wasn't the classic one either, sorry. Here you go, no raising and no colors on the 4 versions of the \S/ that we're discussing:}

Smallville went his own was with the \S/, and yes, it looks kinda SR-ish, but it's not the SR \S/, nor is it the classic or the Reeve \S/.
