One of the things I hope for is the return and reestablishment, as in still here with us by the end and in the future, of Brainiac and Bizarro. Because for Doomsday and Zod from Seasons 8-9: Clark put Doomsday underground, which had me praise the creativeness of that because that sets up the Death of Superman in the Smallville universe as Doomsday comes out in that comic from underground; and Zod was taken away to another planet (aka New Krypton) and there was and there still is no doubt that he wouldn't back to Earth (also to add that that's true because it's been confirmed that Zod will return in Season 10); but while those two are fine, Brainiac and Bizarro aren't.
For Brainiac; I'm not talking about Brainiac 5 as we've recently seen him in "Homecoming", but Brainiac...1. Brainiac is, like Smallville, one of Clark's/Superman's greatest villains, next to Lex Luthor, but in Smallville, the Legion of Super-Heroes confirm with Clark in one episode that Brainiac is gone, and now he's Brainiac 5. This is a bad thing for us because that shouldn't be the case. And as of this posting, there doesn't seem to be any indication that Brainiac the villain will return. Even the Smallville wikia lists Brainiac 5 as the fifth version of Brainiac on the show, making it an even stronger case that we won't be getting the villain Brainiac again. Because they want to align the show towards the mythos when it ends, this has to change before the show is over. And I do have m own take on it: what-if Brainiac 5 returns again from the future for a mission, only in the course of the episode gets split into two: Brainiac 1, the original currupted version, and of course Brainiac 5, the heroic version. This is will be great, in regards towards Marsters' acting, as I can see these two version of the same character, two sides of a coin, give philosophical points of view of Earth and the humans on it; with one favoring death anf the other favoring life. At the end of the episode, the day is saved, but Brainiac 1 is still around to which Brainiac 5 warns Clark about. This sets up Brainiac 1 will be around in Clark's time when he is Superman. That's my ideal pitch for the return of the villain Brainiac.
Next up is Bizarro, and that's a hard one. Unlike Brainiac, the producers themselves (both Gouth and Millar, and Sounders and Peterson) have expressed interest in bringing him back, however its been awhile since I heard that. I have two ideas in how brining Bizarro: Idea 1: in Season 7, Bizarro exploded thanks to the power of blue K; what-if those pieces became nothing but part of the floor of Oliver Queen's apartment. Then in Season 10's time, thoese pieces are finally regenrated and Bizarro appears reborn. What will be left for the show's producers and writers are: will Bizarro have the "face" or a normal Clark face that he can turn on or off? And finally, because he is reborn, will Bizarro remember the events of Season 7 or be mindless, similar to his source material counterpart. The second idea is based on the cloning and Darkseid currently part of the plot of Season 10: what-if later on, Alenander/Lex II (who might as well become the new Lex Luthor to have at the end) and/or Darkseid, create a new clone of Clark whose simple purpose is to discredit Clark/the Blur's actions. Everything else from who he is and what he is and what he can do depends on how made him. But like Brainiac 1; Bizarro will survive and become a Superman villain in the present time.
What do you guys think, and do you even have ideas in how Brainiac 1 and Bizarro should return? Or...do you guys like my ideas very much.
