It keeps getting bigger too. Maybe it changes size each time he stuffs another criminal back into the PZ through it? By the end of the season, it'll be big enough to wear on his chest. LOL

Most of the time it appears to have a silver/blue colour to it. It seems that it only turned black when it was in Zod's hand, which I guess stands to reason. Him being the big bad dude and all.

it can only get worse if Clark resorts to using cellophane S's to capture the remaining criminals

* it NEEDS to get bigger s.t. he can wear it on his chest as Supes

* there was at least one instance (above) when the \S/colors were right for Supes. Which ep was it, and what was happening?
* perhaps it goes red-yellow when he finally completes his training & accepts his destiny?

Clark tried to use Raya's crystal. He held it up but the phantom smashed through it.

I thought that's what happened. It just went too fast. I really didn't see him hold anything up. A cool fight scene though.

Umm, with that shot, the Smallville "S" I got made for me isn't that quite right. 95% of my shield is right now, except for the "v" tip.

I like the shield made for me beter than that, because that "v" tip from that screenshot looks off.

Why does the stone change material and size, in the first pic it is a white sort of see through one, and the second it goes to a black silver non see through one, and later on it gets like 2 times bigger and now blue tinted and bigger, does the stone change after every phantom captured and if so it it bacause of the stone or did the creators just keep changing the stone for coolness

They increased the size so it would read better on camera. Basically, it needed to be more "noticeable."
