Agreed. Mayor Garcia dies in the explosion at the Stadium. Its pretty much apparent in the trailer.

However, in the tv spot 4, it would definately haveto be someone pretty close to Bruce to evoke that kind of emotional reaction from him. I could see Conti's character bonding with Bruce and giving him hope as they spend time together. Bane would excecute him and force Bruce to watch, just to break his will and make him lose all hope.

However, i heard from a source that a major supporting character dies in the movie. The likely cantidates could be Lucius Fox, Gordon, Alfred or Blake.

Haha i wasnt aware of the spy pic you claim of. But whoever dies, its pretty much a given that this film is much larger in scale than either BB or TDK. The stakes are higher, more people die then in any of the two prior films. And ofcourse, Batman/Bruce's world is about to get rocked out of proportion.

I cant seem to stop watching the tv spot 4 though. Its just too intense. And the look on poor Bruce's face.

It was a part of Rocketman's disinfo/rumors. But I can't remember if he was even the originator of the allegation or not.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was filmed being killed. He gets shot in the head by a character described as "an old man." I'm fairly certain this old man is Tom Conti. It's described as very much a "Departed" style of killing, because it comes out of nowhere. An inside-joke is going around regarding the fact that JGL was shot in the head in Inception, so this confirms that JGL can't be in a Christopher Nolan movie where he doesn't get shot in the head.

I believe Conti's character will die as well. Just not sure it's his character Bruce is reacting to in spot 4.

Blake does seem to have a run in with bane, and I wouldn't even be surprised to see him die. I'm getting a bad feeling about Fox, and Alfred. The trailers and tv spots really make me think one of those guys are not gonna make it to the end of the film.

I do like the mystery that still surrounds the plot of the film. So many odds and ends that are probably not gonna be solved before the premiere.

As I said in the Alfred thread:

As more and more footage keeps coming in from the film, I'm starting to get increasingly worried about Alfred.

Formerly it was rumored that Fox would die, but now we've seen him in a lot of footage after Bruce comes back from Bane's prison.

But what worries me is that, as far as I can recall, there haven't been any footage of Alfred post-prison. And now that clip of Bruce screaming in agony while in prison as if he's seeing a loved one in distress...
