The trailer was busy. Too much was going on both visually and narratively. It wasn't a very well cut trailer. The footage looks promising tho.

I really expected this to wash away the bad taste JL left but it looks like more of the same... especially the second half of the trailer.

So far we saw almost nothing but CGI and it looks cheap.

I'm not worried about effects. ILM is doing them and they will be constantly worked on for the next few months.

That was, imo, one of the best trailers DC has put out. Up there with MoS trailer 2 and 3, BvS trailer 1 and the Bohemian Rhapsody SS trailer. Just wow. You can tell Wan directed the s*** out of this.

The CGI was really good for the amount they had and it's 5 months away. There is no way an Aquaman movie done right would be without a lot of CGI. I'm just glad James Wan is this ambitious. Don't know any superhero movie with perfect CGI anyway.

Snyder faithfuls are not out here with Pitchforks, stop projecting. Pitchforks are present only in Aquaman movie.

People complaining about CGI in films that could not be realized without MASSIVE amounts of SFX is always... It's just such a silly pose of authenticity to me. It's also always selective because you know those same folk heap praise on films with as much CGI as the movies they pillory for that same element. Silliness.
