Apparently he said in social media that he played Murk, the one that shots Mera down.

It was interesting that they basically put the extra scene they showed at SDCC in there and the scene they showed journalists recently at the start, and then did a trailer. The film looks a lot of fun though, the rooftop chase with Manta and his armored mercs chasing Aquaman and Mera looks awesome and the underwater battle looks pretty epic, plus the scene of Aquaman lifitng the Submarine out of the water is a great visual.

It certainly looks like Wan's mission to mesh Romancing the Stone with Star Wars is on course.

Don't listen to the haters. They're just desperate MCU fans freaking out because DC is getting positive attention from this trailer. The reality is no one can truly deny that this trailer was EPIC AS HELL! Most people that were remotely in doubt from the first trailer are all in after seeing this new one - and the haters know it! I just think its strange that people have nothing better to do than to dwell on this childish Marvel vs DC thing. An adult can see value in both if they wanted to and watch whatever movie they like without considering which billion dollar corporation is behind it. These are not baseball teams! - They are just companies that make comic books. WHO GIVES A FLYING CRAP?!! It feels like people who are like that just don't have self-worth. And I mean that in all honesty. I can't imagine sitting in the comment sections of a video or forum regarding a movie you apparently don't give a crap about only to try and convince as many people as you can to feel the same way you do. Why waste your time for that? It takes a certain type of mental disorder wasting all of your time trying to do that let alone thinking that you have that capability in the first place to change the minds of millions of people. What planet are some of these people on?!!!

Let's not generalize people who dislike the trailer. I can imagine Consona for example would probably not appreciate being called an MCU fan.

those black manta goons/ atlantean soldiers do look like the 2017 megazord though - with the glass face-plate.

i think they look cool though - esp when they busting through all those walls.

Someone said that when Queen Atlanna stab one of the soldier, water is pouring out. So it seems that their armors are bulky because they stored water in them.
It does look cool and tanky. And they can move fast and agile in it, makes it more menacing.

It's still weird to see Dolph Lundgren with red hair, his blond hair is iconic.

I chuckled when I saw Aquaman thread in another forum has 'Drago vs Drogo' in the title when he was announced.

I was not generalizing people who hate the trailer. If you hate the trailer, more power too you. Not seeing the movie is your resolve. Also, I literally don't know who Consona is. Never even seen a comment posted from the person you are talking about. What I said was in response to Micromind describing people he/she saw in the comment section of the trailer. And if you read my comment in response it was describing a specific type of person who spends their time and effort trolling a movie(or anything for that matter) that they don't like in a comment section(of any platform). I find that behavior very strange and indicative of someone who is not happy with their life. I really do. That's just my opinion. And I think you'll find that the average person would agree. Maybe not the people in this forum/community but the average everyday person would find that behavior strange - and they should because it is.

I know its a bit tinfoil hat to say but I really wouldn't be surprised that it all wasn't just a marketing ploy at this point now anyway. I mean you can't even enjoy a movie(or anything) anymore without a dozen trolls jumping from one thread to another trying to start crap with people who like it. And usually, they spend all day doing it. Why???!!! What is there to gain? Isn't there something better to do with your life? IDK it's just weird to me. But hey it seems to keep CBMs in the conversation. Nobody can stop talking about them.

When two (or more ) special effects houses work on a movie, they usually divide the movie into parts they will be working on. And ILM has previously worked with WB on movies such as Ready Player One and Kong The Skull Island, both were under 200 mil budget. WETA Digital has recently done vfx work for Rampage.

I haven't been around for a few days and I've been catching up with the new trailer and the talk in here and literally the only person in this thread that is consistently dragging the MCU and it's fans into the conversation is you. Maybe give it a rest? People are allowed to dislike the trailer, it's pointless getting so worked up about it.

Anyway, I personally really liked this new trailer, I think it's much better than the first one. Loving the colours, the action and the scale, I think it's going to look fantastic on the big screen. I don't do IMAX very often because the nearest screen to me is about 20 miles away, but I think the scale of this movie will definitely justify that bit of extra travel. The only things I'm still not 100% sold on is Jason Momoa (nothing against him, I'm just not big on what we've seen of 'Aquabro' so far), and like some others have mentioned, the dialogue seems a little cringey. But dialogue can often seem cringey in trailers when it's divorced from it's proper context, so that doesn't concern me that much.

Oh it's a wig and not a good one. The one thing that was better in JL was Mera's hair.
