Actually he is.Contrary to what certain folks may want to believe, he has not seperated YO from the rest of his canon.
I've said this before and I'll say it again:Miller has always written Batman consistent to his other work.In YO Batman was a few decibals lower in scale, because he was just starting out.He's found his groove in ASB&R.
I agree with your main point, that Miller has written Batman the same way all the time. Goddamn Batman could very easily age into the Batman we see in DKR; and Year One Batman could trip on his power a little bit and lose himself, becoming the Goddamn Batman. (For example: in Year One he already has a disdain for cops and likes to yell when attacking people; Jim Gordon also referenced a bunch of Year One events in Issue Six).
The fact that Barbara Gordon is involved in Goddamn Batman, without being mentioned in Year One stops me from reading it as a direct continuation, though.
Either way, I'm pretty effing psyched to read the next issue later this week.
