The "Amalgam Universe" RPG

Im telling you that it will be fine, I'll make sure that it doesnt get out of hand. Remember in the comics they fused Batman and Wolverine, but Bruce Wayne was still around and was an agent of SHIELD. They did the same things in the comics. I will however make sure that we only have a certain amount of people that can use the same character for amalgamation, I think that maybe 3 is a good limit.

So I really think we shouldn't have self made characters at all. Why not just stick to the comics as they were?

It would be safer and better for the RPG if you just stuck to the comics. Creating new characters like this, it's just an invite for trouble.

Q-man, its cool, dont worry about it. Its gona be fine I assure you. Everyone can still pick characters from the Comics, and I'm sure that most people will, but this allows for some real artistic creation and I'm sure some realy good storylines aswell. I'm gona run with it for a while and if it proves to be to much of a hassle, than we wont do it anymore, but I sevierly doubt we will have that problem. Just relax, watch it in action before you pass judgment. Also, what character are you interested in? We could use a good Supersoilder.

I thought a good way to do an Amalgam Universe RPG was to create it from the One Universe RPG - kinda like The Reborn storyline, but instead of reliving their origins etc it *smushes them together* and there's a season of that - while characters who don't wanna be amalgamated could carry on in the OU RPG, then have a nice big happy one where they all come back... (then continue on the Amalgam as an A.U/ What If thing)

As it is, I'll be joining up... can't decide who as though.... argh

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: Trevor Castle - No powers but a crap load of guns and millitary training.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I play a really light character in OU, would like to play a darker one.

2. I don't really know the Amalgam Universe that well, and this is basically the punisher with a few differences, in love interests etc.

3. The original punisher anyway, is bad ass

What can you bring to this game?

I really don't know.
