Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: The Saint(Doctor Strange/Constantine) : Stephen Constantine was a prodigy born to a wealthy family in Gotham city. During his sixteenth brithday his parent's were killed and his assets were seized by his controlling uncle. Stephen spent most of his teenage years in a deep depression that climaxed with his attempted suicide on his eighteenth birthday. His butler immediately called 911 and he was quickly sent to the hospital.
During his time in the hospital, Stephen's soul was locked in purgatory dimension. He came to realize how petty his reasons for commiting suicide were, and sought help to escape purgatory. After spending two years in a coma however, he soon began to lose hope of escaping. Sensing great magical pontential in him, Lucifer himself made a deal with Stephen. Mephisto would awake him, but in return Mephisto expected Stephen to use his great magical pontential and intellect to aid him.
Stephen agreed and was awakened almost immediatley afterward. He then spent two years helping people sin while traveling with his punk group, Mucous Membrane. It wasn't until one of his fans, a fourteen year old girl, died that he began to question his new situation. To make matters worse his high school sweetheart, Clea, had been nearly killed by a renegade demon that he had summoned and let loose.
Stephen turned his back on Mephisto and left his rock group all together. Using his inheritance, Stephen traveled around the world and came across a group of monks. They taught him how to really use his magical potential and convinced him to undo all that he had done through good deeds. Stephen returned to Gotham with Clea in tow, and formed a demon hunter service (Saints Inc.) hoping to discourage demons from attacking Earth.
Powers- Stephen possesses high magical potential, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of every magic spell known to man. He is also somewhat skilled in the martial arts. Due to his earlier deals with Mephisto Stephen also has an increased resistance to injury and magic, but he is weak to any form of holy magic.
Three reasons why you have chosen that character:
1. I'm planning on having Ult. Constantine make a few appearances in the Ult. DC RPG and I wanted to play around with the character here first.
2. I've never tackled magic users before in an RPG.
3. Keanu Reeves is hot.
What can you bring to this game?
Same thing I've been bringing in all my other characters; comedy, realistic emotions, and unique personalities.
