The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Blu-Ray/DVD Countdown Thread

I don't have a Blu-ray 3D and I bought it anyway lol.

Maybe on the... Future..

Yeah..

I'm looking for a good sale...maybe on the next reboot I can buy one.

Seriously.

By the way, did anyone pick up the movie at Walmart? I read the other day you get some sort of collector's case or something like that.

You get an Ultimate Spider-Man pencil box with the Wal-Mart Exclusive.

Defintely gonna pick the magno edition tomorrow after work.

Okay so I picked up my DVD/Blu-Ray Ed. At Target. Didn't bother asking for the Sinister Six bonus disc. From the looks if it, it didn't even look like they were carrying it but whatever.

Wanted to wait and see some feedback before picking up mine :word:

Regardless, I will most likely own it by the weekend!

Just picked up the Blu-Ray from Bestbuy and watched the movie with audio commentary from Alex, Matt, Jeff and Avi. They said some interesting things about what was left out and what they're going for. I watched this movie quite a few times before and didn't see the disappearing lettuce until they mentioned it. Lol

Target Exclusives usually include a sticker on the front of the case saying "Target Exclusive.

Yeah, when I wrote that a few minutes ago, I hadn't opened the DVD yet. Saw the bonus disc was inside. I'll be watching it some time this week.

1. No, the magno case does not glow in the dark.

2. Just watched with my mom. She enjoyed it. As did I. (6th viewing)

3. Heard the the blu-rays and magno cases have sold out in a couple of stores.

Avi Arad needs to stop being included in any bonus features, he is truly terrible to listen to and offers nothing to the convo.

Will be picking it up tomorrow (technically, later today)! Looking forward to the commentary and special features.

I watched the Sinister Six Target DVD and honestly isn't anything special. I wish I had gotten the Best Buy version instead but I can't return it so whomp whomp LOL.

I kind of wish I had got the best buy one instead of the target one. I haven't watched the target dvd bonus thing yet has I went and saw expendables after work and then watched Americans got talent. Form what I am hearing the best buy mego thing is cool and you get a comic with it and at my best buy it was 24.99 for the 3d one and at target it was 27.99 so I payed 3 more. I am not sure if paying 3 more is worth having the bounes disk instead of the best buy stuff.

I got the regular blu ray with the S6 bonus for 20 bucks. I used to care about packaging, but not so much anymore.

I have seen photos of the best buy packet but not the comic you get with it at best buy. Can some one who got it form best buy takes photos of the comic? I just want to see what the comic looks like.

Just a warning to anyone that is looking to get the Target version for the sinister six DVD, DON'T bother go with the Best Buy version. The Sinster Six DVD is just a 20 min feature talking giving back stories to comic book Sinster six villians and for some odd reason using footage from Rami's movies as well as the reboot movies. It's nothing special, the only interesting tid bits is that Webb confirms that the mask in the ASM 2 credits is reference to Mysterio not chameleon like some where saying. Apparently, Webb is a fan of Mysterio but is unsure if he will actually be in the sinister six movie. The only other thing is that they mention the upcoming sinister six movie near the end. They say they want to Sinister Six to be good guys ( sorta) ...... So the audience can connect and root for them. Take that as you will.

Picked up my copy of the 3D Magno case from Best Buy. I would have rather been able to purchase a steelbook case but the Magno is a very fine substitute. I've seen this said before and I believe it to be true--pictures don't do this case justice. It's a hefty little thing, very solid. The case is constructed from what almost feels like glass and has a nice magnet that keeps the case closed. The artwork is real cool, almost holographic. IMO, the Magno is the way to go. And for those wanting it, I would go get one asap. My local BB had two remaining on the shelf when I got mine.
