He wasn't a troll.
Yes he was. He was a returning troll who kept trolling. That is why he was banned.... again.

Avenging Spidey was all about positivity.
To the point of ignoring everything else. Like his prediction of 1B for this film. Which while still possible, does not look very likely right now.

Its confirmed that they are the same person?he is a troll for being opmistic? So the haters we have here should be banned too,i saw that you don't agreeded much with him,but that doesn't make him troll.

Aren't trolls those who come in posting negativity to get under people's skin?

If so that doesn't apply to him as he was in support of the movie

Was there any updates on how its doing OS or is it just about the same?

Avenging Spidey was a hero, they just didn't see it.
you either die a hero or you live long enough to become the villian :oldrazz:

The last report is that the overseas performance sits at $137 million. That is after two weeks on the market. So things are not going to well for this film. The $1 billion predictions are not optimistic: they are delusional.

What if you live long enough to become the villian then immediately die? Lol

damn well thats disheartening.not that a movie should be judged by whether it hits a billion because i think people kinda get spoiled by movies that did hit that mark.feeling that well everything should.and that's just not realistic.critics being lukewarm also isn't gonna do it any favors but eh GA might end up eating it up anyways.

LMAO

This should still make close to $750 mill WW which would be fine if Sony didnt go full ****** with the budget and marketing expenses. Seeing as they dont have the merchandising rights, thats another revenue stream cut off so that puts more pressure on the film to perform huge at the box office.

Its still going to generate a nice profit but i doubt its going to be as big as they had hoped.

He is as much of a troll as the people who come on here constantly and post one negative thing after the next. Not saying he is any better or worse than them, but it goes both ways. Now back to box office...

I'm hoping the film can at least pull a good $700-750 million worldwide. It won't mean as much since sony really blew it with the marketing budget, but it is what it is.

maybe a couple hundred mill after tv licensing and blu-ray sales?
The first film didn't make it to $100m in sales on DVD/blu ray. Should we expect this one to, especially in a potentially declining market?

That isn't trolling, it is a fact that the first film didn't have 100 million in Blu Ray sales. He is asking a legitimate question to spark discussion. I'm still looking forward to this film, but that doesn't mean we should start twisting facts to be positive.

If they got Spider-Man back then I'd hope that they would find a way to fit him in with their current plans for the MCU. IDK if it would greatly impact their B.O. revenue (possibly would be the highest grossing film of its time).

A lot would depend on actors, but if they could get Garfield, Downey, Evans, Hemsworth and Ruffalo on screen all together I think that film could potentially knock Avatar out of the top spot.

If Downey or Garfield were recast, it wouldn't have near the impact.

I think if Spider-Man was put in the MCU then they would start from scratch (even skipping the origin like in TIH). If they used Garfield then everything that happened in the Webb films would have to be considered cannon in the MCU.

It has occurred to me that everyone is starting to panic about how much the film will make. And I have to say let's just relax until late August & September.

And by that time TASM3 will almost be ready for filming in October.
