Ultimate Spider-Man is kiddy show and I take it purely as that. I'm a quite a bit too old for it but it's fine for what it is.

Ultimate Spider-Man is kiddy show and I take it purely as that. I'm a quite a bit too old for it but it's fine for what it is.

What's so great about TSSM is that it was kid friendly but also made so that adults could enjoy it. There was a level of maturity to it that I can appreciate. At most it makes you feel like you're a kid again while USM is simply just for kids.

USM is so bad sometimes I feel asleep while watching it. No way would I take it over any Spider-Man movie.

I'd rather watch Man of Steel, that's how bad USM is...

... are all ''kiddy shows'', so how exactly is that an excuse for Ultimate Spider-Man being downright horrible.

Because those shows were made with more talented people on board.

Those shows realized that the kids watching had a brain and didn't treat them like they were dumb.

Only in the broadest sense, most of those were geared toward an adolescent/preteen demo. Ultimate Spider-Man seems to be focused on younger children.

I respect anyone who wants to see TASM3 but I really hope marvel gets Spidey back in some capacity whether it be a joint effort or a complete sell.

TASM2 was just dreadful and a huge drop off from the first one. I've seen enough from Sony running the show, I think marvel deserves a crack at it now.

Everyone can agree TASM2 was a dissapointment, yeah but i still like TASM a lot and even if i want spidey to go to the MCU i can´t deny i wanted TASM3 to make it right, sadly it seems the only redeeming qualities of the franchise are gone besides Sony seems to have no idea what to do next...

if they're gonna micromanage marc webb/whoever directs it, then theres no point in some of you even supporting a sequel. Sony is very experienced in disturbing the creative process and ruining everything.

Not in the eyes of the executives, who saw that the shows were able to appeal to BOTH demographics.

They got critical acclaim, high ratings and strong merchandise sales from the younger audience.

Ultimate Spider-Man can and should be so much more. The people behind it just aren't striving for anything significant.
